José Martí and the Political Science of his time. Notes for a study

Abstract

This article is part of an ongoing research that, once completed, will be presented as a thesis as an option to
the scientific degree of Dr. in Political Science. It is reflected, by way of notes, about the knowledge of the Political
Science of the nineteenth century that is evident in Martian thought. When considering José Martí, as one of the
founders of a Political Science with a SOUTH approach, it is necessary to inquire into what can be termed as its
epistemic sources. It refers to how, the relationship between political philosophy and political theory becomes the
