Entrepreneurs training: background, news and proposal for a curriculum redesign model for its implementation

Abstract

This work presents antecedents and characteristic features of the training approach to human capital that is gaining momentum in some regions of the world: the training of entrepreneurs, and their relationship with training based on competences, which are applied in the educational and business sector. Theoretical and experiential arguments about competency-based training and the training of entrepreneurs are presented, and some suggestions for their implementation are proposed, based on a proposal for a competency-based curriculum redesign model, as a response to
contemporary problems of professional training in Cuba and the world.
