Identity-culture-geography: procedures for its contextualization in the teaching of local geography.

Abstract

In the context of Geography teaching, cultural identity training is typified by the lack of didactic-methodological resources and insufficient mastery by teachers of current approaches that guide the treatment of local cultural identity. In this way, from the research perspective, theoretical and empirical methods such as logical historical, interview and documentary study were used. In addition, it reflects on the theoretical assumptions that support the cultural identity formation based on the appropriation of the geographic object turned geographic object of local identity.
