Methodological Suggestions for the Treatment to Problem Solving

Abstract
As part of the constant perfection of the teaching- learning process, the syllabi and
teaching programs are aimed to a qualitative superior formation at all levels and
subsystems of education taking into consideration the skills development. However, it is a
reality that frequently the expected results are not fulfilled yet in the students of basic
subjects as Mathematics and Physics, with predominance in the problem solving skills
deficiencies. For this reason the present paper responds to the need to instruct the
professors of the different levels to face the teaching- learning process of these subjects
