History of the Education of Information Users

Abstract

User education is an aspect of vital importance at a time when information has a
privileged place in society, due to advances in science and technology.
The article discusses how evolution has manifested education of users of
information at different stages of the Cuban Revolution.
Practical activities that can contribute to the development of information
management skills of users in the first year of higher education are presented.
