Didactic materials by the cognitive stimulation to scholars with Mild Intellectual Disability

Abstract

Intellectual Disabilities is a present reality in the educational Cuban context, by presenting limitations in the cognitive capacitances and skills, as well as affective, behavioral and socio-psychological problems. As relating in the special education, the psycho-educational action reverberates considerably in the
stimulation of the cognitive functions of each individual. For which, proposed as objective: elaborating didactic materials as psychotherapeutics strategy by cognitive stimulation to boost the apprenticeship in children diagnosed as Mild Intellectual Disability. After the application, the designed resources could improve to the functional and adaptive states of the cognitive processes in the educational population.
