Didactic strategy for the development of socio-humanist competence in health professionals

Abstract

The need to train excellence competencies is the reason that prompted the Institutional Project for the socio-humanist development of health professionals that runs the Medical University of Guantánamo since 2016. The problem that motivated it was how to contribute to the development of socio-humanist competence in these professionals, and it involved the objectives of designing, applying and evaluating a didactic strategy for the achievement of this competence to favor the insertion of socio-humanistic sciences in the mode of action of health professionals, certifying their viability by triangulating the criteria of specialists, users and experimenting.
