Abstract

The Cuban university is permanently related to society because it emerges from it and responds to it. This relationship acquires the character of law, conditions the training process of higher level professionals and determines its regularities and trends. Thus, it is recognized that the university of the 21st century has as its historical mission to preserve and promote the culture of humanity through its substantive processes and in close connection with society.
