Dance education as part of comprehensive training in Colombia

Abstract
The article characterises the main features of dance education as part of comprehensive training in Colombia. For this purpose, a methodology of analysis of sources was used, including studies carried out by some researchers on the key terms addressed. The results allowed us to identify the value of dance education in the current context based on the Standards of Basic Competences and the tenth grade dance area plan.
