Use of mobile devices for academic purposes: Advantage or disadvantage?

Abstract

The use of mobile devices in the educational field has become an increasingly widespread reality, which has been validated from many perspectives. In this article, a review of the literature was carried out to analyze the impact of the use of mobile devices for academic purposes, with the development of a quantitative investigation and applied a questionnaire of questions with answers to alternatives, the results were processed and analyzed to the result is that mobile devices can be a useful tool for learning, but it is important to use them responsibly to avoid distractions.
