Social networks as a strategy and digital competences of teachers

Abstract
In this article about social networks as strategies and digital skills at the level of higher education. The objective was to determine social networks as a strategy and the digital competencies of teachers in the Distance Learning Master's degree programs at the Miguel de Cervantes University. The methodology focuses on the quantitative approach, under descriptive research, where 56 teachers and a Likert-type questionnaire were examined. The main findings have verified that social networks as a strategy can be positive for conducting the master's degree; Teachers manage to encourage the participation of students in various activities.
