Epistemological approach to competence curricular design problems

Abstract

A theoretical study is made of the components of the concept of competence to reflect on their training. For this, methods of the theoretical level were used, among which are the analysis and synthesis, the induction-deduction, which allowed to specify from the documentary analysis as an empirical method the proposal of elements to be taken into account in the curricular design by competence. In addition, the modes of action, professional values, and professional competencies of five careers in Ecuador are proposed.
