Comprehension of texts in English in cadets of the Chorrillos Military School "Coronel Francisco Bolognesi" in times of COV

Abstract

The objective was to determine the level of comprehension of texts in English in cadets of the Chorrillos military school "Coronel Francisco Bolognesi" in times of COVID 19. This research it is based on a study with a quantitative approach, non-experimental and simple descriptive design. The population consisted of 1341 cadets from the five years of training and the sample was 120 cadets. A comprehension test of texts in English was applied, concluding that 44.2% of cadets reached a level qualification in process, due to the fact that priority is given to military instruction in the educational institution, although it complies with the international standards required at university level.
