Historical notes on student permanence in the Cuban university context

Abstract

The present research has as objective to unveil the main tendencies in the process of formation of the
student from the perspective of its permanence in the Cuban university context as a budget to deepen the essence of its
current state and to make proposals for its improvement. With the logical historical method the fundamental milestones
that mark transcendent changes in the studied process are specified, and three stages are established for the analysis in
correspondence with the moments of decision making and / or incorporation of legal aspects at the level of university
education and its relationship with the political, economic and social processes of the country.
