Community Work Experiences from the Conception and Methodology of Popular Education in Vertientes Municipality

Abstract
Training community leaders for the improvement of their work has inadequacies. The popular authors,
teachers and educators of the Municipal University Center of Vertientes, together with students in training, set out to:
Design a training proposal for community leaders who, from the conception and methodology of Popular Education,
and as part of the management of the CUM, tribute to the local development in Vertientes. In that sense, Popular
Education stands as a conception and methodology that, through the question, dialogue, group work and collective
knowledge construction, satisfies these efforts.
