Socio-community strategy for the contribution to local development through university-government integration

Abstract

The Municipal University Center (CUM) of San Luis works based on university-society integration by
linking in the advice of community work with the municipal government. Due to problems in constituency 23 of the
José Martí Popular Council related to the lack of preparation for the development of the diagnosis and the joint actions
of the delegate with the community factors, a socio-community strategy was implemented with a recreational-
participatory-interactive approach. The motivational dynamic was the creation of the conga El Tren de Martí Alta that
allowed unity between all the factors and the change of said community
