The development of professional skills in students to perform the university social service

Abstract

The work addresses the theoretical-methodological foundation that teachers should know to guide students
in the realization of the university social service they develop in the communities, which should contribute to local
development. The knowledge-skills-values system is offered to carry out the university social service conceived as a
pedagogical process. The necessary and sufficient contents on the topics of social service, community work and local
development are determined, offering professional skills with their respective actions and operations, which are guiding
and facilitate the student's performance in this task, an aspect of incalculable value for the direction of the pedagogical
process.
