Oral storytelling and the contributions of theatre in primary school children

Abstract

 Stimulating the creative thinking of primary school pupils through art linked to oral storytelling is a current priority of the National Education System. The article presented here is the result of a qualitative research process in which methods and techniques with these characteristics were used and where theatre appreciation-creation workshops were applied. The aim of the article is to show how these can be used as a function of a creative pedagogical process that favours the development of skills, both communicative and in this artistic manifestation.
