The prevention of prostitution as a social phenomenon in the Guantánamo municipality 60 years after the revolution

Abstract

This work addresses the problem related to the increase of prostitution as a social phenomenon in the Guantánamo municipality. A diagnosis is made of the current situation, related to preventive work and the confrontation with prostitution, by the decision-making bodies and community factors, in addition to assessing the relationships that are established between the problems detected and the guidelines of economic and social policy of the Party. A systematization of the main theoretical elements related to prostitution as a social phenomenon is offered, which
contributes to the preparation of all those who intervene in this process
