Cultural practice and family fishing tradition for local development in the Caimanera municipality

Abstract

The planning of local development in the municipalities requires a different look where sociological science intervenes as the guide towards being able to unveil and understand the cultural traditions that contribute to this end. The fishing cultural practice as a family tradition is a potentiality in several localities of the country and the Caimanera municipality is one of them, however, it is a problem that requires investigation and its importance is intended to be analyzed. The use of theoretical and empirical methods allowed exposing the regularities of the phenomenon. The evaluations carried out made it easy to reveal that the traditional fishing support is potential for the development of the community.
