Environmental education for sustainable development in the improvement of Primary School

Abstract

The incorporation of environmental education for sustainable development to the pedagogical process of Primary School constitutes a priority. In the article, with the use of document analysis and data triangulation, the first version of the materials for the improvement of the first to the third grade of this educational level is critically examined. The objectives are to identify regularities and offer methodological recommendations for the incorporation of environmental education for sustainable development in the pedagogical process. The results become proposals to be considered by the authors of the materials for the improvement of the Primary School.
