Teaching tasks for the didactic treatment to synonym and antonym

Abstract

The work provides a scientific solution to the treatment given to the synonymy and antonym.  The main outcomes included in the work are the result of the doctorate thesis presented by the author focusses on the solution of some insufficiencies about the theoretical foundation regarding the teaching learning process of acquiring the new lexicon in the students.  Different scientific methods were applied to students and professors of the university, such as interviews and surveys which allow to propose a characterization of the treatment given to the lexicon in the teaching learning process. The application of teaching tasks for the didactic treatment to synonyms and antonyms, facilitated the students’ understanding of the words and their appropriate use in the production of texts, in function of achieving an integral communicative competence.
