Methodology for historical analysis in pedagogical research

Abstract

All scientific research needs to analyze the historical background that has characterized the problem studied, in order to reveal characteristics, changes, regularities and development trends of the object under study. This work is derived from a doctoral thesis and aims to socialize the results obtained on a methodology for historical analysis in pedagogical research. Theoretical methods were used: analysis-synthesis, induction-deduction, historical-logical, systemic-structural functional; as well as with empirical methods and procedures: interviews, testimonies and surveys. The proposal has been used in pedagogical research, mainly in Masters and Doctorates.
