The methodological organization of the university social service pedagogical process for its contribution to local development

Abstract

Results of a research project on university social service are addressed, as an expression of the universitysociety link. Different research methods and techniques were applied, facilitating the proposal of a new look at the methodological organization of said process. A socio-educational strategy is offered with scientific-pedagogical foundations, configured in mission, general and specific objectives, stages with actions and methodological
instrumentation to integrate students into communities and contribute to local development in different areas: general education; environmental, health; sexuality and gender role. The university social service must be aligned with the millennium goals and the 2030 Agenda.
