Family mediation in children's audiovisual consumption. An educational challenge

Abstract
The growing access of children to new technologies has conditioned new consumption models from different routes and formats, with the home as the most important scenario. In this essay we reflect on the implications that this type of reception has in the integral formation of the new generations, without family mediation. For its preparation, various specialized sources in the field of Pedagogy, Psychology and Communication were used, concluding with proposed recommendations for family orientation in promoting active accompaniment in children's audiovisual consumption.
