Didactic proposal for the acquisition of cultural contents in the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language

Abstract

The presence of literature in Spanish as a foreign language classes has not reached the necessary systematicity yet.
In order to demonstrate its value, a didactic proposal was elaborated from the story Francisca and the death, by Onelio Jorge Cardoso, to contribute to the acquisition of cultural contents in students of Spanish as a Foreign Language of B2 level. To do this, the Historical-Logical, Hermeneutic and Analysis-Synthesis methods were used in the search, organization and evaluation of the theoretical background and the criteria presented in the methodological suggestions. Methodological considerations were obtained that guide the teacher on how to direct the analysis for this type of students. It is concluded that the proposal contributes to the conformation of cultural, sociocultural and intercultural knowledge and to the enjoyment of the pleasure of reading in nonSpanish-speaking students
