Improvement of the Direction of Postgraduate Education and the Management of its Quality

Abstract

Graduate education at Guantanamo University is not properly managed. The study carried out by analyzing this process, revealed a set of difficulties that hinder the fulfillment of the strategic objectives and the quality standard. The work proposes, based on the deficiencies detected, some actions that contribute to improving the management of postgraduate education and its quality. To achieve this purpose, the Balanced Scorecard was taken into account, where the teaching department plays the fundamental role, since it directs the main actors involved in postgraduate education.
