How to motivate economics students to learn mathematics

Abstract

The difficulties that students historically have in modeling as a prelude to solve problems, and especially in the economic sphere, motivated the realization of this article where, through examples, it is proposed as with the modeling of problems of economic practice and using tools such as: linear functions, differential and integral calculus of real functions of a variable, a function that defines income and calculation of costs, the student can not only be
motivated by learning mathematics, but also internalize that these can be used to understand and modify reality
