Treatment of the nominal syntagm for the development of strategic competence in elementary school.

Abstract

The article is about the significance of the analysis of noun phrases in the short story ¨Hunt for the rattlesnake¨ and how it contributes to the development of strategic competence in 7th grade students.  Its aim is to propose teaching activities for the analysis of noun phrases that tribute to the strategic competence. The research methods used were: historical - logical, analysis – synthesis, inductive – deductive; as well as the scientific observation, interviews and surveys. With the proposal a different didactical work was carried out, the short story was better understood, and the grammatical content was studied in a new way.
