Dynamics of the local innovation system in promoting entrepreneurship: experiences of the Caimanera municipality

Abstract

This work systematizes the dynamics of integral extensionism aimed at promoting the culture of community entrepreneurship, based on the popular education methodology of “learning by doing”, where producers, service providers and marketers are trained considering the priorities of the system of local innovation. To show the feasibility of the proposal, a university experience that shows social innovation through community action in a socio-productive scenario is illustrated, which contributes to stimulate the integration of the local innovation system through new or improved ideas connected to sustainable development from the relationship between the global and the local.
