To Improve Written Expression in English through learning tasks

Abstract

An empirical study was carried out by the authors of this work in order to find out how written expression deals with teaching learning process in English as a foreign language in Cuba. As a result, it revealed the weaknesses, which remains in most of schooling institutions and offers a proposal of some learning tasks to improve the students´ abilities in writing. Some methodological considerations and requirements are also included to structure the proposal, as well as certain didactic reflections for the development of written expression in English.
