Abstract
This article shows the results of the application of the diagnosis, aimed at verifying the current situation presented by the teaching-learning process of arithmetic calculation in school children with dyscalculia in Primary Education. A population of 75 school children from the second and third grades of the three semi-boarding schools in the Manzanillo municipality, 15 teachers, three Heads of Cycle, three psycho-pedagogues, three speech therapists and six computer science teachers is used. The sample consisted of 30 school children with dyscalculia, five teachers, two Cycle Chiefs, two psycho-pedagogues, two speech therapists, two computer science teachers and thirty families of school children, all randomly selected. A diagnostic investigation of the current status of dyscalculia treatment at the primary educational level is used, based on the historical study and the application of scientific instruments such as surveys, interviews, document analysis and pedagogical testing.
