Teacher performance in the virtual classroom of the Latin American School of Medicine: reflections.

Abstract

The Latin American School of Medicine, has implemented virtual classrooms due to the need to integrate information and communication technologies into the educational process. The teacher must have skills to perform in these environments. The objective of the work was to analyze the theoretical references on the performance of the teacher in the virtual classroom, to achieve an approach to its definition in this context. A qualitative, descriptive study
was carried out; systematization, synthesis analysis and interview were used. As a result, the analysis of the teacher's performance in the virtual classroom and the definition offered by the authors was obtained.
