1. Scientific, Technological and Innovation Observatory: a tool to support society in Cuba

Abstract

He set of activities carried out by the Cuban Scientific, Technological and Innovation Observatory was analyzed in relation to the most advanced technological development process: technological foresight, and its support to science and society in Cuba. The main methods used were: historical-logical, analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive and systemic-structural, and documentary research. The characteristics, products, services and tools of the Observatory are presented. There is a need to cover the growth and diversification of science, technology and innovation systems and the incorporation of new trends that allow greater development in society.
