8. The use of written language and text comprehension in virtual courses

Abstract

Written language predominates in virtual courses. In many cases, the text comprehension process that students carry out is not the most appropriate; therefore, the objective of this work is to analyze how the correct use of written language favors textual understanding in these courses. Among the results obtained, it was shown that there are deficiencies in the use of written language in the courses mentioned, which can affect textual comprehension and cause difficulties during learning. It was also possible to present the disciplines that allow a better use of this language and a better student understanding.
