			<title>Introducción</title>
			<p>El desarrollo científico técnico alcanzado actualmente trae consigo la producción de nuevos conocimientos, expresados en los resultados científicos de las diferentes áreas del saber. Esto no es ajeno a las Ciencias de la Educación, cuyos resultados de la actividad científica educacional tienen como objetivo primordial la solución de los problemas que se presentan en la práctica educativa y el enriquecimiento de la teoría pedagógica. Esta prioridad le confiere a la didáctica como ciencia un papel fundamental, al proporcionar un marco teórico y práctico para integrar efectivamente la Inteligencia Artificial (IA) en el currículo del bachillerato ecuatoriano, asegurando una educación relevante y adaptada a las demandas del siglo XXI.</p>
			<p>La Inteligencia Artificial conllevó a la creación de plataformas de aprendizaje en línea para instituciones educativas que desean ampliar sus líneas educativas y habilidades para estudiantes participantes. A su vez, suelen ofrecer una variedad de materias y temas, lo que permite a los estudiantes explorar sus intereses y perseguir objetivos de desarrollo personal y profesional, y cumplir con el currículo universitario. Las plataformas de aprendizaje en línea suelen utilizar métodos de enseñanza interactivos y atractivos, como vídeos, cuestionarios, formularios y ejercicios interactivos para mejorar la experiencia de aprendizaje. (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B1">Lázaro et al., 2024</xref>, p. 123)</p>
			<p>La Inteligencia Artificial (IA) ha transformado diversos sectores y la educación no es la excepción. En un mundo cada vez más digitalizado, es fundamental que los estudiantes de bachillerato adquieran competencias que les permitan desenvolverse en un entorno laboral donde la IA juega un papel fundamental.</p>
			<p>Este estudio tiene como objetivo explorar estrategias didácticas que faciliten la incorporación de la IA en el currículo de bachillerato, centrándose en una unidad educativa específica en Guayaquil. </p>

			<title>Desarrollo</title>
			<p>Un eje que articula las estrategias didácticas para integrar la Inteligencia Artificial en el currículo de bachillerato es la combinación de los recursos didácticos, ya que favorecen y bridan ayuda en la creación de entornos de enseñanza-aprendizaje inclusivos y efectivos para la educación integral. Es fundamental adaptar estos recursos a las características y necesidades de los profesionales de la educación, asegurando que la educación sea pertinente, accesible y respetuosa. La integración efectiva de la Inteligencia Artificial en el currículo colegial no solo mejora el aprendizaje académico, sino que también prepara a los estudiantes para enfrentar desafíos futuros relacionados con tecnologías emergentes. </p>
			<p>Guayaquil, como una de las ciudades más importantes de Ecuador, enfrenta el reto de preparar a sus jóvenes para un futuro donde la IA desempeñará un papel crucial. La educación secundaria debe adaptarse a estas nuevas realidades, incorporando herramientas y metodologías que fomenten el pensamiento crítico y la creatividad.</p>
			<p>La incorporación de la Inteligencia Artificial en el currículo de bachillerato en Ecuador enfrenta diversas problemáticas que pueden frenar su implementación efectiva. Algunas de estas problemáticas incluyen:</p>
			<p>
				<list list-type="bullet">
					<list-item>
						<p>Falta de capacitación docente: Muchos docentes no tienen la formación necesaria para integrar la IA en sus estrategias didácticas. La falta de capacitación específica sobre herramientas y aplicaciones de IA limita su capacidad para enseñar estos conceptos.</p>
					</list-item>
					<list-item>
						<p>Infraestructura tecnológica inadecuada: En muchas instituciones educativas, especialmente en áreas rurales, la infraestructura tecnológica es deficiente. Esto incluye la falta de acceso a computadoras, internet y software adecuado para trabajar con IA.</p>
					</list-item>
					<list-item>
						<p>Desconocimiento sobre ética y seguridad: La enseñanza sobre el uso ético y seguro de la IA es fundamental, pero muchas veces se pasa por alto, lo que puede generar preocupaciones sobre el uso responsable de estas tecnologías.</p>
					</list-item>
					<list-item>
						<p>Enfoque tradicional en la educación: Un enfoque educativo centrado en métodos tradicionales puede limitar la creatividad y flexibilidad necesarias para implementar estrategias innovadoras que incluyan IA.</p>
					</list-item>
				</list>
			</p>
			<p>Superar estas problemáticas requiere un enfoque integral que incluya capacitación docente, inversión en infraestructura tecnológica, revisión curricular y promoción del trabajo colaborativo entre diferentes actores educativos y tecnológicos.</p>
			<p>Este estudio podría ser considerado por las unidades educativas en Guayaquil, una ciudad que ha mostrado un creciente interés por la innovación educativa. Será válido incorporar la IA como parte del currículo con el objetivo de preparar a los estudiantes para los desafíos del futuro. El enfoque se centra en desarrollar competencias tecnológicas, pensamiento crítico y habilidades interpersonales. Se analizan las metodologías utilizadas, los resultados obtenidos y las implicaciones para futuras prácticas educativas. Se llevó a cabo un estudio cualitativo con un enfoque descriptivo.</p>
			<p>Se utilizaron entrevistas semiestructuradas con docentes directores y estudiantes, con el fin de obtener una perspectiva amplia sobre las percepciones y experiencias relacionadas con la implementación de IA en el aula, para la constatación de las estrategias didácticas.</p>
			<p> La investigación se realizó durante un año académico (2023-2024) y se centró en reconocer estas propuestas en una unidad educativa ubicada en Guayaquil. Los participantes incluyeron 50 estudiantes de bachillerato, 5 docentes y 5 directivos, de diferentes áreas del conocimiento. Se seleccionaron mediante muestreo intencional.</p>
			<p>Según <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B3">Crovi (2008</xref>), el uso de las TIC remite al ejercicio o práctica general, continua y habitual vinculada a la utilidad/beneficio que proporcionan las tecnologías, es decir, cómo se aprovechan o emplean esos recursos a fin de obtener el máximo rendimiento al realizar ciertas actividades (p. 75).</p>
			<p> Además, plantea que el uso de las TIC debe analizarse en relación con el acceso, pero también con un concepto fundamental para la construcción de una Sociedad de la Información: la apropiación (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B4">Crovi &amp; López, 2011</xref>, p. 73). </p>
			<p>Modo de incluir la tecnología digital en una estrategia </p>
			<p>La tecnología digital empaqueta y transmite información a una escala sin precedentes, a alta velocidad y con un bajo costo. El almacenamiento de información ha revolucionado el volumen de conocimientos accesibles. Por otra parte, el procesamiento de información permite a los estudiantes recibir retroalimentación al instante y, por medio de la interacción con máquinas, adaptar el ritmo e itinerario de aprendizaje: los estudiantes pueden organizar la secuencia de lo que aprenden de acuerdo con su contexto y sus características.</p>
			<p>Entretanto, el intercambio de información reduce el coste de interacción y comunicación. Sin embargo, a pesar del enorme potencial de esta tecnología, muchas herramientas no se han diseñado para aplicarse en la educación. No se ha prestado suficiente atención a cómo se aplican en la educación, ni mucho menos a cómo deberían aplicarse en diferentes contextos educativos. (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B2">Unesco, 2023</xref>, p. 9)</p>
			<p>Estrategias didácticas para integrar la Inteligencia Artificial en el currículo de bachillerato ecuatoriano.</p>
			<p>Se conoce que la Pedagogía y la Didáctica, así como las otras ciencias de la educación han cursado un largo y difícil proceso de desarrollo histórico. Son varias las etapas por las que han transitado, a saber: la pre-científica, desde la antigüedad hasta el siglo XVII; la científica, que avanzó en el siglo XVIII y en el XIX hasta mediados del siglo XX; la crítico-emancipadora (científica), de mediados del siglo XX al quinto lustro del siglo XXI (actualidad). A partir de la educación, como proceso cultural y social, que es el centro aglutinador de todas las Ciencias de la Educación, se han desarrollado diferentes variantes, pero que coinciden en su esencia: la humanización del hombre.</p>
			<p>Hoy en día coexisten las corrientes y las tendencias clásicas de dichas ciencias, unidas a las teorías emergentes que han ido surgiendo, y no se aprecia a plenitud un estudio que valore de una forma integradora, en su conjunto, lo que ha sucedido en cada etapa histórica, y mucho menos, cuáles son las proyecciones teóricas que se asumen en la actualidad.</p>
			<p>Fundamentos del currículo</p>

					</list-item>
					<list-item>
						<p>Énfasis en valores: Se busca inculcar valores éticos y morales fundamentales como la solidaridad, respeto, responsabilidad y justicia social.</p>
					</list-item>
				</list>
			</p>
			<p>El currículo del bachillerato ecuatoriano, en el contexto actual de la Inteligencia Artificial, debería adaptarse para preparar a los estudiantes no solo para entender y utilizar estas tecnologías, sino también para abordar los desafíos éticos, sociales y económicos que surgen con su implementación. </p>
			<p>Al implementar estos elementos en el currículo del bachillerato ecuatoriano, se podría garantizar que los estudiantes no solo sean consumidores pasivos de tecnología, sino también creadores informados y responsables dentro del ámbito de la Inteligencia Artificial.</p>
			<p>Integrar la IA dentro del currículo educativo requiere un enfoque holístico que combine pedagogía efectiva, metodologías activas y una reflexión constante sobre su impacto educativo. De esta manera, se puede preparar a los estudiantes no solo para utilizar estas tecnologías, sino también para comprender su contexto social y ético.</p>
			<p>Resulta indiscutible que la realidad natural y social cambia, y por supuesto la cultura y las formas de educar tienen que variar, para responder no solo a las necesidades presentes, sino a las del futuro. </p>
			<p>La pedagogía y la didáctica son fundamentales para integrar la IA en el currículo educativo de manera efectiva, estas deben potenciar desde sus posicionamiento teórico y metodológico algunas estrategias que pueden potenciar su implementación desde:</p>

				<title>Introduction</title>
				<p>The scientific and technical development currently achieved brings with it the production of new knowledge, expressed in the scientific results of the different areas of knowledge. This is not alien to the Educational Sciences, whose results of educational scientific activity have as a primary objective the solution of problems that arise in educational practice and the enrichment of pedagogical theory. This priority gives didactics as a science a fundamental role, by providing a theoretical and practical framework to effectively integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the Ecuadorian high school curriculum, ensuring a relevant education adapted to the demands of the 21st century.</p>
				<p>Artificial Intelligence led to the creation of online learning platforms for educational institutions wishing to expand their educational pipeline and skills for participating students. In turn, they often offer a variety of subjects and topics, allowing students to explore their interests and pursue personal and professional development goals, and fulfill the university curriculum. Online learning platforms often use interactive and engaging teaching methods, such as videos, quizzes, forms, and interactive exercises to enhance the learning experience. (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B1">Lazaro et al., 2024</xref>, p. 123)</p>
				<p>Artificial Intelligence (AI) has transformed various sectors and education is no exception. In an increasingly digitized world, it is essential that high school students acquire skills that will enable them to function in a work environment where AI plays a fundamental role.</p>
				<p>This study aims to explore didactic strategies that facilitate the incorporation of AI in the high school curriculum, focusing on a specific educational unit in Guayaquil.</p>
			</sec>
			<sec sec-type="results">
				<title>Development</title>
				<p>An axis that articulates the didactic strategies to integrate Artificial Intelligence in the high school curriculum is the combination of didactic resources, since they favor and provide assistance in the creation of inclusive and effective teaching-learning environments for comprehensive education. It is essential to adapt these resources to the characteristics and needs of education professionals, ensuring that education is relevant, accessible and respectful. The effective integration of Artificial Intelligence in the school curriculum not only improves academic learning, but also prepares students to face future challenges related to emerging technologies. </p>
				<p>Guayaquil, as one of the most important cities in Ecuador, faces the challenge of preparing its youth for a future where AI will play a crucial role. Secondary education must adapt to these new realities, incorporating tools and methodologies that foster critical thinking and creativity.</p>
				<p>The incorporation of Artificial Intelligence in the high school curriculum in Ecuador faces several problems that may hinder its effective implementation. Some of these problems include:</p>
				<p>
					<list list-type="bullet">
						<list-item>
							<p>Lack of teacher training: Many teachers do not have the necessary training to integrate AI into their teaching strategies. Lack of specific training on AI tools and applications limits their ability to teach these concepts.</p>
						</list-item>
						<list-item>
							<p>Inadequate technological infrastructure: In many educational institutions, especially in rural areas, the technological infrastructure is deficient. This includes lack of access to computers, internet and software suitable for working with AI.</p>
						</list-item>
						<list-item>
							<p>Lack of knowledge about ethics and safety: Teaching about the ethical and safe use of AI is critical, but is often overlooked, which can lead to concerns about the responsible use of these technologies.</p>
						</list-item>
						<list-item>
							<p>Traditional approach to education: An educational approach focused on traditional methods can limit the creativity and flexibility needed to implement innovative strategies that include AI.</p>
						</list-item>
					</list>
				</p>
				<p>Overcoming these problems requires a comprehensive approach that includes teacher training, investment in technological infrastructure, curriculum revision and promotion of collaborative work between different educational and technological actors.</p>
				<p>This study could be considered by educational units in Guayaquil, a city that has shown a growing interest in educational innovation. It will be valid to incorporate AI as part of the curriculum in order to prepare students for the challenges of the future. The focus is on developing technological competencies, critical thinking and interpersonal skills. The methodologies used, the results obtained and the implications for future educational practices are analyzed. A qualitative study with a descriptive approach was carried out.</p>
				<p>Semi-structured interviews with teachers, principals and students were used to obtain a broad perspective on the perceptions and experiences related to the implementation of AI in the classroom, in order to verify the didactic strategies.</p>
				<p> The research was conducted during one academic year (2023-2024) and focused on recognizing these proposals in an educational unit located in Guayaquil. The participants included 50 high school students, 5 teachers and 5 directors, from different areas of knowledge. They were selected by means of intentional sampling.</p>
				<p>According to <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B3">Crovi (2008</xref>), the use of ICTs refers to the general, continuous and habitual exercise or practice linked to the utility/benefit provided by technologies, i.e., how these resources are taken advantage of or used in order to obtain maximum performance when carrying out certain activities (p. 75).</p>
				<p>Furthermore, it states that the use of ICTs should be analyzed in relation to access, but also to a fundamental concept for the construction of an Information Society: appropriation (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B4">Crovi &amp; López, 2011</xref>, p. 73). </p>
				<p>How to include digital technology in a strategy </p>
				<p> Digital technology packages and transmits information on an unprecedented scale, at high speed and low cost. Information storage has revolutionized the volume of accessible knowledge. Moreover, information processing allows learners to receive instant feedback and, through interaction with machines, to adapt the pace and path of learning: learners can organize the sequence of what they learn according to their context and characteristics.</p>
				<p>Meanwhile, the exchange of information reduces the cost of interaction and communication. However, despite the enormous potential of this technology, many tools have not been designed for application in education. Not enough attention has been paid to how they are applied in education, let alone how they should be applied in different educational contexts (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B2">Unesco, 2023</xref>, p. 9).</p>
				<p>Didactic strategies to integrate Artificial Intelligence in the Ecuadorian high school curriculum.</p>
				<p>It is known that Pedagogy and Didactics, as well as other educational sciences, have undergone a long and difficult process of historical development. There are several stages through which they have passed, namely: the pre-scientific, from antiquity to the seventeenth century; the scientific, which advanced in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries until the mid-twentieth century; the critical-emancipatory (scientific), from the mid-twentieth century to the fifth half of the twenty-first century (present). From education, as a cultural and social process, which is the agglutinating center of all the Educational Sciences, different variants have been developed, but which coincide in their essence: the humanization of man.</p>
				<p>Today, the classical currents and trends of these sciences coexist, together with the emerging theories that have been emerging, and a study that assesses in an integrated manner, as a whole, what has happened in each historical stage, and much less, what are the theoretical projections that are assumed at present, is not fully appreciated.</p>

				<p>The Ecuadorian high school curriculum, in the current context of Artificial Intelligence, should be adapted to prepare students not only to understand and use these technologies, but also to address the ethical, social and economic challenges that arise with their implementation. </p>
				<p>By implementing these elements into the Ecuadorian high school curriculum, it could ensure that students are not only passive consumers of technology, but also informed and responsible creators within the field of Artificial Intelligence.</p>
				<p>Integrating AI into the educational curriculum requires a holistic approach that combines effective pedagogy, active methodologies and constant reflection on its educational impact. In this way, students can be prepared not only to use these technologies, but also to understand their social and ethical context.</p>
				<p>It is indisputable that the natural and social reality changes, and of course the culture and the ways of educating have to change, in order to respond not only to present needs, but also to those of the future. </p>
				<p>Pedagogy and didactics are fundamental to integrate AI in the educational curriculum in an effective way, these should enhance from their theoretical and methodological positioning some strategies that can enhance its implementation from:</p>
