				<title>RESUMEN</title>
				<p>Uno de los problemas que se identifica en función de la integralidad en la formación pedagógica de los futuros docentes de Física y Matemática es el insuficiente aprovechamiento de las potencialidades de las estrategias curriculares. Para ello, este artículo tiene como objetivo definir este concepto y ofrecer pautas para la implementación de dichas estrategias. Se utilizaron métodos como el análisis-síntesis, el análisis de contenido y la revisión de documentos. Los resultados evidencian consenso en el uso de dichas estrategias, para lo cual, el trabajo curricular, la preparación de los docentes y el protagonismo de los estudiantes es condición indispensable.</p>

			<title>Introducción</title>
			<p>En uno de sus eslóganes, la Universidad Técnica “Luis Vargas Torres” de Esmeraldas, República del Ecuador, declara que trabaja desde 1970, en la formación de profesionales de elevado nivel, con sentido de pertinencia, críticos, propositivos y humanistas, enfocados en el desarrollo sostenible de la sociedad. Para lograrlo, concibe el proceso desde una perspectiva integral, toda vez que las exigencias sociales le demandan un graduado cada vez más competente, que en el caso de la Facultad de Pedagogía está matizado porque no se puede desentender del hecho de que estamos ante un proceso de formación de formadores de hombres.</p>
			<p>Dicha Facultad tiene como misión la formación integral de profesionales de la educación: críticos, propositivos y humanistas, mediante un proceso educativo actual, articulado entre la docencia, la investigación y la vinculación con la sociedad, para el desarrollo sostenible de la sociedad, basados en la construcción adecuada de la cultura universal y ancestral ecuatoriana, la ciencia y la tecnología.</p>
			<p>En el caso de las carreras de Física y Matemática, la concepción de integralidad en la formación pedagógica de los futuros docentes presenta una creciente multidimensionalidad y retos. Téngase en cuenta que estas asignaturas son de las que se tornan más difíciles de aprender por los educandos de los diferentes niveles educativos que las reciben, mediante el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje que desarrollan los docentes que se gradúan de esta Universidad. Por ello resulta muy compleja dicha formación integral.</p>
			<p>Por otra parte, no es posible responder a todos los requerimientos que la sociedad le hace al proceso de formación de pregrado de estos profesionales, en el tiempo que duran sus carreras, pues son muchas las disciplinas y asignaturas que las conforman y además existen objetivos y contenidos que no se pueden atender desde una sola de ellas y demandan del concurso de la mayor cantidad de influencias educativas por parte de los profesores de la institución universitaria, con un enfoque transversal y gradual, para que se incluya su tratamiento en los diferentes años, a partir una gradación adecuada.</p>
			<p>Esta problemática puede tener respuesta con una de las herramientas que está a disposición del proceso de gestión de la formación pedagógica de los futuros docentes de las carreras de Física y Matemática, que son las estrategias curriculares, cuyo desarrollo teórico y práctico es cada vez más creciente. Con relación a su conceptualización y las pautas para su implementación, trata el objetivo de este artículo.</p>
			<p>En consonancia con el objetivo del trabajo, se seleccionaron materiales que abordan el concepto de estrategias curriculares, que aparecen en documentos normativos, textos publicados en revistas científicas indexadas en SciELO y otras bases de datos relevantes, como premisa para la utilización de la revisión documental y los métodos teóricos de análisis-síntesis, inducción-deducción y análisis de contenido. Ellos, en conjunto, posibilitaron delimitar los rasgos que definen el concepto de estrategia curricular, su importancia, y los requerimientos metodológicos para su puesta en práctica, con el concurso de docentes y directivos, en función de contribuir a hacer más pertinente la gestión de la formación pedagógica de los futuros docentes en las carreras de Física y Matemática de la Universidad Técnica “Luis Vargas Torres” de Esmeraldas, República del Ecuador.</p>

			<title>Desarrollo</title>
			<p>El concepto de estrategia curricular ha sido definido por autores como: <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B7">Ministerio de Educación Superior (MES) (2003</xref>); <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B6">Horruitiner (2008</xref>); <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B8">Ministerio de Educación Superior (2016</xref>); <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B1">Chacón (2022</xref>); <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B2">Del Sol et al. (2021</xref>); <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B3">Del Toro y Valiente (2019</xref>); <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B4">Hernández &amp; Sánchez (2022</xref>); <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B10">Mosqueda et al. (2019</xref>); <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B9">Morales et al. (2015</xref>), entre otros. Este expresa una cualidad igualmente necesaria al concebir el plan de estudio de una carrera universitaria, y está relacionado con “…aquellos objetivos generales que no es posible alcanzar, con el nivel de profundidad y dominio requeridos, desde el contenido de una sola disciplina y demandan el concurso adicional de las restantes” (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B6">Horruitiner, 2008</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B8">Ministerio de Educación Superior, 2016</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B2">Del Sol et al., 2021</xref>).</p>
			<p>Para el <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B7">Ministerio de Educación Superior (2003</xref>) las estrategias curriculares son:</p>
			<disp-quote>
				<p>Aquellos aspectos generales de cada profesión que no se logran formar desde una disciplina en particular, requiriendo el concurso de las restantes, de modo que se integren coherentemente al plan de estudios de cada carrera, como parte de su diseño y con un balance real del todo y cada una de sus partes. (p. 8)</p>
			</disp-quote>
			<p>Entre los términos y expresiones con los que se ha delimitado este concepto, son comunes los que lo califican como “objetivos generales”, “sistema de saberes culturales de gran repercusión social”, “abordaje pedagógico del proceso docente con el propósito de lograr objetivos generales”, “acciones estratégicas” y “sistema de acciones generales”. A partir del análisis de las definiciones sistematizadas anteriormente, se asumen las estrategias curriculares como sistemas de acciones que se orientan al tratamiento de contenidos que responden a objetivos de un alto grado de generalidad, abarcan todos los componentes y dimensiones del proceso de formación pedagógica de los futuros docentes de Física y Matemática, y demandan, para su consecución, del trabajo disciplinario e interdisciplinario.</p>
			<p>A partir del análisis de las definiciones sistematizadas anteriormente, se asumen las estrategias curriculares como sistemas de acciones que se orientan al tratamiento de contenidos que responden a objetivos de un alto grado de generalidad, abarcan todos los componentes y dimensiones del proceso de formación pedagógica de los futuros docentes de Física y Matemática, y demandan, para su consecución, del trabajo disciplinario e interdisciplinario.</p>
			<p>Sobre su importancia, el <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B8">Ministerio de Educación Superior (2016</xref>) resalta que estas coadyuvan a elevar la eficacia en el cumplimiento de los objetivos generales de las carreras, y que están asociadas con determinados conocimientos, habilidades, valores y modos de actuación profesional declarados en los programas de las disciplinas y que son claves en la formación integral de los estudiantes. Se trata de “…contenidos que no es posible abordarlos con la debida profundidad desde una sola disciplina y requieren del concurso de varias.” (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B8">Ministerio de Educación Superior, 2016</xref>, p. 16).</p>
			<p>En otro orden de cosas, entre los contenidos generales que pueden ser objeto de tratamiento para la formación pedagógica de los futuros docentes de las carreras de Física y Matemática, y que han sido objeto de inclusión en estrategias curriculares, se identificaron en la literatura consultada, los de ética y formación ciudadana (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B1">Chacón, 2022</xref>), de enfoques modernos de dirección (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B7">Ministerio de Educación Superior, 2003</xref>), de educación ambiental desde la matemática superior (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B2">Del Sol et al., 2021</xref>), también desde la clase de Filosofía (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B4">Hernández &amp; Sánchez, 2022</xref>) y en la carrera de Matemática (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B10">Mosqueda et al., 2019</xref>), asimismo, los contenidos para el uso de las tecnologías de la información y las comunicaciones en la solución de tareas de aprendizaje; el de idioma inglés, de formación económica, ambiental, política, jurídica y social, de uso de la lengua materna (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B8">Ministerio de Educación Superior, 2016</xref>), de preparación para la dirección escolar (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B3">Del Toro y Valiente, 2019</xref>), entre otros.</p>
			<p>Se recomienda además lo relacionado con la formación investigativa y el uso de la inteligencia artificial, los que de forma coherente, pueden contribuir a ampliar el perfil del profesional de las carreras pedagógicas de Física y Matemática, a tono con los adelantos científico-técnicos y el enfoque de competencias que, de manera emergente, inunda hoy el mercado del trabajo y llega hasta las instituciones educativas donde se desempeñarán laboralmente los egresados de la institución universitaria.</p>
			<p>Así las cosas, la Facultad, a través de las alianzas y convenios interfacultades e interinstitucionales, puede realizar una oferta de formación continua para sus profesores, encaminada a contribuir al tratamiento de los objetivos y contenidos de las estrategias curriculares que se aprueben, como aseguramiento organizacional para la gestión adecuada de este proceso, lo que implicará incluir procedimientos para la implementación de las acciones.</p>
			<p>Entre las pautas que posibilitan concretar el tratamiento de los objetivos y contenidos de las estrategias curriculares en las disciplinas y asignaturas del docente que labora en las carreras de Física y Matemática, se destacan las siguientes:</p>
			<p>
				<list list-type="order">
					<list-item>
						<p>Determinación del lugar que tiene cada tema en el programa de la disciplina y la asignatura (a partir de posibles relaciones con el contenido de la misma). Para ello es imprescindible lograr que los profesores, cuando elaboren sus programas, identifiquen aquellos contenidos realmente fundamentales, que constituyen la columna vertebral de esa materia y que, en calidad de invariantes, “permiten comprender su lógica interna y apropiarse de las esencias. Ese y no otro debe ser el contenido de los programas de cada asignatura y de ese modo debe enseñarse en el aula: a partir de invariantes del contenido.” (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B5">Horruitiner, 2006</xref>, p. 100)</p>
					</list-item>
					<list-item>
						<p>Gradación del contenido por años de la carrera, para el caso de aquellas disciplinas y asignaturas que atraviesan verticalmente el plan del proceso docente, desde el punto de vista curricular.</p>
					</list-item>
					<list-item>
						<p>Análisis del sistema de objetivos, funciones y tareas que deberá cumplir el futuro docente y que se determinaron previamente en cada uno de los años de las carreras, así como su dosificación en los propósitos de las disciplinas y asignaturas.</p>
					</list-item>
					<list-item>
						<p>Precisión del contenido de la asignatura que tiene posibilidad de tratamiento de cada nodo de articulación por su alto grado de generalidad y trascendencia, en grupos de estrategias curriculares que se definan en ambas carreras. </p>
					</list-item>
					<list-item>
						<p>Establecimiento de los nodos de articulación interdisciplinaria de las propias asignaturas de las carreras de Matemática y Física y de los que se definan por estrategias curriculares. Luego, con un trabajo en equipo entre los profesores de cada año, disciplina y asignaturas, diseñar los requerimientos didácticos para su abordaje en el proceso formativo.</p>
					</list-item>
				</list>
			</p>
			<p>Los nodos de articulación interdisciplinaria son:</p>
			<disp-quote>
				<p>Aquellos contenidos de un tema de una disciplina o asignatura, que incluye conocimientos, habilidades y los valores asociados a él y que sirven de base a un proceso de articulación interdisciplinaria en una carrera universitaria dada para lograr la formación más completa del egresado (Fernández, como se citó en <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B9">Morales, Kindelán y Guzmán, 2015</xref>, p. 35).</p>
			</disp-quote>
			<p>La definición de los mismos es un recurso para viabilizar la organización y coherencia del contenido de las estrategias curriculares.</p>
			<p>Planificación de tareas docentes que permitan el desarrollo efectivo de las estrategias curriculares y que faciliten la aplicación de la evaluación de los logros que alcanzan los estudiantes.</p>
			<p>Otro de los elementos de orden orientador para emprender el camino de la utilización de las acciones que se diseñen en las estrategias curriculares, es precisar hacia que direcciones abordar dichas acciones.</p>
			<p>En tal sentido, es imprescindible en primer lugar, la institucionalización (legalización) por las autoridades de las carreras y la Facultad de Pedagogía de dichas estrategias, lo que implica su inserción en la planificación estratégica del trabajo administrativo y al nivel de disciplinas y asignaturas, en todos los años académicos.</p>
			<p>Previamente, se sugiere que se realice el diagnóstico inicial sobre la preparación de los estudiantes en relación con el contenido de las estrategias curriculares que sean asumidas, a partir de los indicadores establecidos, como fuente de información para rediseñar la planeación de la carrera, los documentos de cada año académico, y la dosificación de las actividades de las asignaturas.</p>
			<p>Otra dirección clave, está asociada al acompañamiento pedagógico para la preparación del claustro, con vistas al tratamiento de las estrategias curriculares, desde las asignaturas que imparten, para lo cual es condición o premisa elemental, la identificación de los posibles nodos de articulación interdisciplinaria, que permitan la integración lógica de los contenidos, desde las invariantes acordadas curricularmente.</p>
			<p>También será necesario dirigir acciones hacia la labor que desplegarán los futuros docentes en su práctica profesional y en todos los escenarios formativos en que desarrollan la docencia, la investigación y el vínculo con la sociedad. Un último aspecto, no menos importante, es la inclusión de objetivos y contenidos en el concierto del proceso de evaluación integral del futuro docente, en función de conocer los logros alcanzados, como mecanismo de retroalimentación para la mejora continua del proceso formativo y el rediseño de las acciones de cada estrategia curricular en el nuevo ciclo de su gestión.</p>
			<p>Por el grado de generalidad y trascendencia de sus contenidos, se propone que una de las estrategias curriculares funcione como “sombrilla” del resto. En este caso se propone el estudio de la concepción teórico-metodológica propuesta por <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B3">Del Toro y Valiente (2019</xref>), para la concreción de una estrategia curricular de preparación para la dirección escolar, que comprende ocho nodos de articulación interdisciplinaria.</p>
			<p>Ellos son:</p>
			<p>
				<list list-type="order">
					<list-item>
						<p>Política educativa; </p>
					</list-item>
					<list-item>
						<p>Planificación y gestión personal del tiempo; </p>
					</list-item>
					<list-item>
						<p>Organización; </p>
					</list-item>
					<list-item>
						<p>Control; </p>
					</list-item>
					<list-item>
						<p>Toma de decisiones;</p>
					</list-item>
					<list-item>
						<p>Participación; </p>
					</list-item>
					<list-item>
						<p>Comunicación y; </p>
					</list-item>
					<list-item>
						<p>Liderazgo.</p>
					</list-item>
				</list>
			</p>
			<p>Para la selección de los contenidos (nodos de articulación interdisciplinaria), como en el caso de esa propuesta, han de tomarse referentes de orientación que aseguren su pertinencia y que garanticen un criterio de racionalidad en cuanto a su cantidad, o sea, que sean los suficientes y necesarios. En definitiva, la formación pedagógica será un proceso continuo y, por tanto, una vez egresado, el profesional de estas carreras podrá dar continuidad al desarrollo de sus competencias profesionales.</p>
		</sec>
		<sec sec-type="conclusions">
			<title>Conclusiones</title>
			<p>La sociedad necesita que las universidades conciban su sistema de formación con un enfoque cada vez más integral, que les permita a los futuros docentes dar respuesta a los problemas generales y sistemáticos que se le presentan en el proceso educativo, donde desempeñarán su actividad pedagógica profesional. Tal aspiración genera un consenso en el reconocimiento de la necesidad de aprovechar las bondades que generan las acciones de las estrategias curriculares para dar tratamiento a un conjunto de objetivos y contenidos que conforman las competencias profesionales de la época actual. A fin de cuentas, las universidades ecuatorianas están comprometidas a dar marcha a un proceso continuo de cambios curriculares, que coadyuve a que sean cada vez más pertinentes con las elevadas demandas que le impone el desarrollo del país al proceso de formación que tiene lugar en ellas.</p>
			<p>Una valoración sistemática de la implementación y los resultados de cada estrategia curricular, en aras de la obtención de información que posibilite la toma de decisiones para su mejora, en el marco de las acciones institucionales establecidas para la evaluación del proceso formativo, tiene el propósito de coadyuvar al perfeccionamiento de la calidad del egresado de las carreras pedagógicas de Física y Matemática.</p>

				<title>ABSTRACT</title>
				<p>One of the problems identified in terms of integrality in the pedagogical training of future Physics and Mathematics teachers is the insufficient use of the potential of curricular strategies. To this end, this article aims to define this concept and to offer guidelines for the implementation of such strategies. Methods such as analysis-synthesis, content analysis and document review were used. The results show consensus in the use of such strategies, for which curricular work, teachers' preparation and students' protagonism are indispensable conditions.</p>

				<title>Introduction</title>
				<p>In one of its slogans, the Technical University “Luis Vargas Torres” of Esmeraldas, Republic of Ecuador, declares that it has been working since 1970, in the formation of high-level professionals, with a sense of relevance, critical, proactive and humanistic, focused on the sustainable development of society. To achieve this, it conceives the process from an integral perspective, since social demands require an increasingly competent graduate, which in the case of the School of Education is nuanced because it cannot ignore the fact that we are facing a process of training trainers of men.</p>
				<p>This Faculty has as its mission the integral formation of education professionals: critical, proactive and humanistic, through a current educational process, articulated between teaching, research and linkage with society, for the sustainable development of society, based on the appropriate construction of the universal and ancestral Ecuadorian culture, science and technology.</p>
				<p>In the case of Physics and Mathematics, the concept of integrality in the pedagogical training of future teachers presents a growing multidimensionality and challenges. It should be taken into account that these subjects are among the most difficult to learn by the students of the different educational levels that receive them, through the teaching-learning process developed by the teachers who graduate from this University. For this reason, this integral formation is very complex.</p>
				<p>On the other hand, it is not possible to respond to all the requirements that society makes to the process of undergraduate training of these professionals, in the time that their careers last, because there are many disciplines and subjects that make them up and there are also objectives and contents that cannot be addressed from only one of them and demand the competition of the greatest amount of educational influences by the teachers of the university institution, with a transverse and gradual approach, to include their treatment in the different years, from an appropriate gradation. </p>
				<p>This problem can be answered with one of the tools available to the management process of the pedagogical training of future teachers of Physics and Mathematics careers, which are the curricular strategies, whose theoretical and practical development is increasingly growing. In relation to their conceptualization and the guidelines for their implementation, it is the purpose of this article. </p>
				<p>In line with the objective of the work, materials that address the concept of curricular strategies, which appear in normative documents, texts published in scientific journals indexed in SciELO and other relevant databases, were selected as a premise for the use of documentary review and the theoretical methods of analysis-synthesis, induction-deduction and content analysis. Together, they made it possible to delimit the features that define the concept of curricular strategy, its importance, and the methodological requirements for its implementation, with the help of teachers and directors, in order to contribute to make more pertinent the management of the pedagogical training of future teachers in the Physics and Mathematics careers of the Technical University “Luis Vargas Torres” of Esmeraldas, Republic of Ecuador.</p>

				<title>Development</title>
				<p>The concept of curricular strategy has been defined by authors such as: <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B7">Ministry of Higher Education (MES) (2003</xref>); <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B6">Horruitiner (2008</xref>); <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B8">Ministry of Higher Education (2016</xref>); <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B1">Chacón (2022</xref>); <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B2">Del Sol et al. (2021</xref>); <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B3">Del Toro and Valiente (2019</xref>); <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B4">Hernández &amp; Sánchez (2022</xref>); <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B10">Mosqueda et al. (2019</xref>); <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B9">Morales et al. (2015</xref>), among others. This expresses an equally necessary quality when conceiving the curriculum of a university degree, and is related to “...those general objectives that it is not possible to achieve, with the required level of depth and mastery, from the content of a single discipline and demand the additional competition of the remaining ones” (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B6">Horruitiner, 2008</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B8">Ministry of Higher Education, 2016</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B2">Del Sol et al., 2021</xref>).</p>
				<p>For the <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B7">Ministry of Higher Education (2003</xref>) the curricular strategies are:</p>
				<disp-quote>
					<p>Those general aspects of each profession that cannot be formed from a particular discipline, requiring the assistance of the remaining ones, so that they are coherently integrated into the curriculum of each career, as part of its design and with a real balance between the whole and each of its parts. (p. 8)</p>
				</disp-quote>
				<p>Among the terms and expressions with which this concept has been delimited, those that qualify it as “general objectives”, “system of cultural knowledge of great social repercussion”, “pedagogical approach to the teaching process with the purpose of achieving general objectives”, “strategic actions” and “system of general actions” are common. From the analysis of the definitions systematized above, curricular strategies are assumed as systems of actions oriented to the treatment of contents that respond to objectives of a high degree of generality, cover all the components and dimensions of the pedagogical training process of future Physics and Mathematics teachers, and demand, for their achievement, disciplinary and interdisciplinary work. </p>
				<p>From the analysis of the definitions systematized above, curricular strategies are assumed as systems of actions oriented to the treatment of contents that respond to objectives of a high degree of generality, cover all the components and dimensions of the pedagogical training process of future Physics and Mathematics teachers, and demand, for their achievement, disciplinary and interdisciplinary work. </p>
				<p>Regarding their importance, the <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B8">Ministry of Higher Education (2016</xref>) highlights that they help to increase the effectiveness in the fulfillment of the general objectives of the careers, and that they are associated with certain knowledge, skills, values and modes of professional performance declared in the programs of the disciplines and that are key in the comprehensive training of students. These are “...contents that it is not possible to address them with due depth from a single discipline and require the competition of several.” (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B8">Ministry of Higher Education, 2016</xref>, p. 16)</p>
				<p>In another order of things, among the general contents that can be the object of treatment for the pedagogical training of future teachers of Physics and Mathematics careers, and that have been the object of inclusion in curricular strategies, were identified in the literature consulted, those of ethics and citizenship training (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B1">Chacón, 2022</xref>), of modern approaches to management (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B7">Ministry of Higher Education, 2003</xref>), of environmental education from higher mathematics (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B2">Del Sol et al., 2021</xref>), also from the Philosophy class (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B4">Hernández &amp; Sánchez, 2022</xref>) and in the Mathematics course (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B10">Mosqueda et al., 2019</xref>), likewise, contents for the use of information and communication technologies in the solution of learning tasks; English language, economic, environmental, political, legal and social training, use of the mother tongue (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B8">Ministry of Higher Education, 2016</xref>), preparation for school management (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B3">Del Toro and Valiente, 2019</xref>), among others.</p>
				<p>It is also recommended that the topics related to research training and the use of artificial intelligence, which in a coherent manner, can contribute to broaden the profile of the professional in the pedagogical careers of Physics and Mathematics, in tune with the scientific-technical advances and the approach of competencies that, in an emerging manner, floods today the labor market and reaches the educational institutions where the graduates of the university institution will work.</p>
				<p>Thus, the Faculty, through inter-faculty and inter-institutional alliances and agreements, can offer continuous training for its professors, aimed at contributing to the treatment of the objectives and contents of the curricular strategies that are approved, as an organizational assurance for the adequate management of this process, which will imply including procedures for the implementation of the actions.</p>
				<p>Among the guidelines that make it possible to concretize the treatment of the objectives and contents of the curricular strategies in the disciplines and subjects of the teacher who works in the Physics and Mathematics careers, the following stand out:</p>
				<p>
					<list list-type="order">
						<list-item>
							<p>Determination of the place of each topic in the program of the discipline and the subject (based on possible relations with the content of the same). To this end, it is essential that teachers, when preparing their programs, identify the truly fundamental contents, which constitute the backbone of the subject and which, as invariants, “make it possible to understand its internal logic and appropriate its essences. That and no other should be the content of the programs of each subject and that is how it should be taught in the classroom: from invariants of the content.” (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B5">Horruitiner, 2006</xref>, p. 100)</p>
						</list-item>
						<list-item>
							<p>Gradation of the content by years of the course, in the case of those disciplines and subjects that vertically cross the plan of the teaching process, from the curricular point of view.</p>
						</list-item>
						<list-item>
							<p>Analysis of the system of objectives, functions and tasks that the future teacher will have to fulfill and that were previously determined in each of the years of the careers, as well as their dosage in the purposes of the disciplines and subjects.</p>
						</list-item>
						<list-item>
							<p>Accuracy of the content of the subject that has the possibility of treatment of each node of articulation due to its high degree of generality and transcendence, in groups of curricular strategies to be defined in both careers. </p>
						</list-item>
						<list-item>
							<p>Establishment of the interdisciplinary articulation nodes of the subjects of the Mathematics and Physics careers and of those defined by curricular strategies. Then, with a team work among the professors of each year, discipline and subject, design the didactic requirements for their approach in the formative process.</p>
						</list-item>
					</list>
				</p>
				<p>The interdisciplinary articulation nodes are:</p>
				<disp-quote>
					<p>Those contents of a subject of a discipline or subject, which include knowledge, skills and the values associated with it and that serve as the basis for a process of interdisciplinary articulation in a given university career to achieve the most complete formation of the graduate. (Fernández, as cited in <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B9">Morales, Kindelán and Guzmán, 2015</xref>, p. 35)</p>
				</disp-quote>
				<p>Their definition is a resource to make the organization and coherence of the content of curricular strategies viable.</p>
				<p>Planning of teaching tasks that allow the effective development of curricular strategies and facilitate the application of the evaluation of student achievement.</p>
				<p>Another guiding element in order to embark on the path of using the actions designed in the curricular strategies is to specify the directions in which these actions should be addressed. </p>
				<p>In this sense, it is essential in the first place, the institutionalization (legalization) by the authorities of the careers and the Faculty of Pedagogy of these strategies, which implies their insertion in the strategic planning of the administrative work and at the level of disciplines and subjects, in all academic years.</p>
				<p>Previously, it is suggested that an initial diagnosis be made on the preparation of the students in relation to the content of the curricular strategies that are assumed, based on the established indicators, as a source of information to redesign the planning of the course, the documents of each academic year, and the dosage of the activities of the subjects.</p>
				<p>Another key direction is associated to the pedagogical accompaniment for the preparation of the teaching staff, with a view to the treatment of the curricular strategies, from the subjects they teach, for which it is an elementary condition or premise, the identification of the possible nodes of interdisciplinary articulation, which allow the logical integration of the contents, from the curricularly agreed invariants. </p>
				<p>It will also be necessary to direct actions towards the work that future teachers will carry out in their professional practice and in all the formative scenarios in which they develop teaching, research and the link with society. A last aspect, no less important, is the inclusion of objectives and contents in the integral evaluation process of the future teacher, in order to know the achievements reached, as a feedback mechanism for the continuous improvement of the training process and the redesign of the actions of each curricular strategy in the new cycle of its management.</p>
				<p>Due to the degree of generality and transcendence of its contents, it is proposed that one of the curricular strategies works as an “umbrella” for the rest. In this case, we propose the study of the theoretical-methodological conception proposed by <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B3">Del Toro and Valiente (2019</xref>), for the realization of a curricular strategy of preparation for school leadership, which comprises eight nodes of interdisciplinary articulation. </p>
				<p>They are: </p>
				<p>
					<list list-type="order">
						<list-item>
							<p>Educational policy; </p>
						</list-item>
						<list-item>
							<p>Personal time planning and management; </p>
						</list-item>
						<list-item>
							<p>Organization; </p>
						</list-item>
						<list-item>
							<p>Control; </p>
						</list-item>
						<list-item>
							<p>Decision making;</p>
						</list-item>
						<list-item>
							<p>Participation; </p>
						</list-item>
						<list-item>
							<p>Communication; and; </p>
						</list-item>
						<list-item>
							<p>Leadership.</p>
						</list-item>
					</list>
				</p>
				<p>For the selection of contents (interdisciplinary articulation nodes), as in the case of this proposal, orientation references must be taken to ensure their relevance and guarantee a criterion of rationality in terms of quantity, i.e., that they are sufficient and necessary. In short, pedagogical training will be a continuous process and therefore, once graduated, the professional of these careers will be able to give continuity to the development of his/her professional competencies.</p>
			</sec>
			<sec sec-type="conclusions">
				<title>Conclusions</title>
				<p>Society needs universities to conceive their training system with an increasingly comprehensive approach, which allows future teachers to respond to the general and systematic problems that arise in the educational process, where they will perform their professional pedagogical activity. This aspiration generates a consensus in the recognition of the need to take advantage of the benefits generated by the actions of curricular strategies to address a set of objectives and contents that make up the professional competencies of the current era. At the end of the day, Ecuadorian universities are committed to a continuous process of curricular changes, which will help to make them increasingly pertinent to the high demands imposed by the country's development on the training process that takes place in them.</p>
				<p>A systematic evaluation of the implementation and results of each curricular strategy, in order to obtain information that will make it possible to make decisions for its improvement, within the framework of the institutional actions established for the evaluation of the training process, has the purpose of contributing to the improvement of the quality of the graduate of the Physics and Mathematics pedagogical careers.</p>
