			<title>Introducción</title>
			<p>La profesionalización del maestro primario alcanza en las condiciones actuales una alta prioridad en la educación cubana actual, si se tiene en cuenta que la Educación Primaria se encuentra en un su tercer proceso de transformación. Es innegable que Cuba ha creado desde el triunfo revolucionario en 1959, un robusto sistema educacional que es admirado por muchos países. </p>
			<p>Para sostener dicho sistema educacional se necesita de un grupo de profesionales que cada día alcancen mayores niveles de profesionalización docente, puesta en práctica en un desempeño profesional pedagógico más eficiente, en correspondencia con la diversidad de educandos presentes hoy en las escuelas primarias.</p>
			<p>La temática abordada es de interés investigativo en diferentes ámbitos (internacionales, nacionales y regionales) en el que no está ajeno la provincia de Matanzas. La diversidad de educandos con necesidades educativas especiales asociadas o no a una discapacidad alcanza cada día una presencia cada vez mayor en las escuelas primarias, por tales razones se requieren de un docente con un desempeño profesional pedagógico más ajustado a los nuevos tiempos.</p>
			<p>La atención educativa a esa diversidad de educandos, implica que el docente de la Educación Primaria actual asuma una postura pedagógica permanente que incluya las diferencias culturales, de sexo, de desarrollo y de aprendizaje de los niños, adolescentes y jóvenes como fundamentos de prácticas cada vez más inclusivas. Es por ello que resulta de vital importancia la formación de un maestro primario más competente, que estimule y desarrolle la personalidad de manera integral, a partir de una preparación básica y especializada en el marco del perfil amplio de la carrera (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B7">Milanés, 2020</xref>)</p>
			<p>En el caso de la carrera Licenciatura en Educación Primaria, este perfil amplio permite en la actualidad contar con un egresado que cumpla con determinados requisitos para ejercer la coeducación y trabajar en una escuela abierta a la diversidad, así como lograr una atención diferenciada de sus educandos, a partir de una preparación básica y especializada, ajustada a la diversidad en las aulas, pero en muchos casos esto no se logra en su totalidad.</p>
			<p>En tal sentido se hace necesario con mayor urgencia el logro de una profesionalización del maestro primario en la atención educativa a estos educandos, donde el profesional de la educación desarrolle las habilidades y capacidades necesarias para acometer una tarea tan compleja. </p>

			<title>Desarrollo</title>
			<p>Es importante reconocer la necesidad de que la profesionalización del maestro primario, constituya una respuesta para el logro de la atención educativa a la diversidad de educandos. En busca de concreción y contextualización acerca de la profesionalización del docente de la Educación Primaria, se sistematizan los estudios realizados por autores internacionales y nacionales, como: <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B1">Añorga, (2012</xref>), <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B6">Rodríguez, (2015</xref>), <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B3">Gato y Madera, (2017</xref>) Milián et al., (2017), <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B4">Martín, A. y García, I (2018</xref>), <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B5">Rivero et al., (2019</xref>), <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B8">Ruíz y Santos de León, (2020</xref>).</p>
			<p>Los autores antes mencionados coinciden en considerar la profesionalización del maestro primario, como un proceso pedagógico especial, que tiene su génesis en la formación inicial, llega hasta la formación permanente, va dirigido al mejoramiento del desempeño profesional pedagógico y tiene un desarrollo continuo, con un carácter humanista. </p>
			<p>El tema encuentra continuidad en el proyecto de investigación institucional: “La preparación de los docentes de la Educación Primaria para la inclusión educativa de alumnos con necesidades educativas especiales en la provincia Matanzas”. Las indagaciones realizadas durante el estudio del tema, permitieron identificar limitaciones existentes en la preparación del maestro primario, en relación con la profesionalización para la atención educativa a la diversidad de educandos presentes hoy en la escuela primaria. </p>
			<p>Como parte de las transformaciones que se llevan a cabo hoy en la Educación Primaria a raíz del proceso de perfeccionamiento en marcha, se precisa de un profesional de la educación con determinados conocimientos especiales, nuevos modos de actuación, sustentados en métodos científicos, contextualizados a los nuevos escenarios representados por el grupo de educandos que atiende, por lo que la profesionalización desempeña un papel muy importante en este proceso.</p>
			<p>El análisis de las ideas expresadas por los investigadores antes mencionados permite determinar puntos de encuentro en que la profesionalización como proceso posibilita el diseño de procesos de formación de profesionales bajo ciertas prácticas, en contextos escolares, lo que acentúa la relación dialéctica entre estos contextos y otros que se contraponen. </p>
			<p>Además valoran la profesionalización a través de tres dimensiones principales: el dominio profundo de conocimientos teóricos que sustentan la profesión, una relación dialéctica entre el pensar y el hacer, regida por valores humanos y una sólida independencia cognoscitiva. </p>
			<p>En esta misma dirección, consideran que la profesionalización como proceso debe contribuir a la formación y desarrollo del modo de actuación profesional, desde una sólida comprensión del rol, tareas y funciones, expresado en la caracterización del objeto, la lógica y los métodos de la ciencia, la lógica de la profesión y un contexto histórico determinado. Este proceso influye en el crecimiento económico y el bienestar material, puede ayudar a la sociedad a identificar sus problemas y potencialidades; contribuye a la humanización del educando y a su capacitación para el mundo del trabajo. </p>
			<p>Como otro de los aspectos esenciales, destacan la necesidad de exigencias como: actitud activa y consciente para alcanzar metas de aprendizaje del sujeto en formación, la formación práctico - investigativa, la formación en diferentes escenarios (el escolar y comunitario), la autorregulación, la vinculación del estudio con el trabajo y la teoría con la práctica, entre otros.</p>
			<p>Para estos autores, el hecho de asumir la profesionalización como proceso facilita la transformación del problema de la formación integral del profesional, sin obviar la relación entre lo científico - profesional y los condicionamientos sociales, además de considerar el establecimiento de modelos didácticos para el proceso docente educativo (relaciones esenciales, leyes, sistemas de principios). Estas posiciones, en relación con la profesionalización como proceso, se convierten en una guía para comprender la profesionalización de los maestros primarios. </p>
			<p>También constituyen argumentos, el hecho de que la profesionalización, al constituirse en vía para resolver problemas de la sociedad, adquiere tres dimensiones fundamentales: dominio profesional del conocimiento teórico, una relación dialéctica entre el pensar y el hacer, regida por valores sólidos, así como una sólida independencia cognoscitiva, lo que ayuda a la sociedad a identificar sus necesidades y potencialidades, contribuye y facilita la modelación del proceso de formación de profesionales en correspondencia con el perfil.</p>
			<p>En este artículo se asume la idea de que la profesionalización del docente </p>
			<disp-quote>
				<p>Es un proceso pedagógico especial, dirigido al mejoramiento del desempeño profesional pedagógico, a partir del diagnóstico de sus necesidades educativas y potencialidades para la apropiación de conocimientos, habilidades, actitudes y valores pedagógicos que les permite situarse a la altura de su tiempo y de las exigencias siempre crecientes de la sociedad (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B2">Barbón y Añorga, 2017</xref>. p.6).</p>
			</disp-quote>
			<p>Según <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B9">Valcárcel et al., (2014</xref>), un docente se considera que ha alcanzado altos niveles de profesionalización, cuando: </p>

			<p>La evaluación de la profesionalización del maestro primario para la atención a la diversidad de educandos presentes en su aula, se realizó mediantes indicadores determinados a partir de los propuestos por <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B9">Valcárcel et al., (2014</xref>), para este estudio se empleó un grupo de estudio representado por 24 maestros primarios perteneciente a diferentes escuela del municipio Matanzas: (José Antonio Echeverría(6 maestros), Si Por Cuba (15 maestros) y Julián Alemán (3 maestros) que atienden un total de 8 educandos con necesidades educativas especiales en el periodo noviembre 2022 febrero 2023. Los siete indicadores determinados para este estudio fueron los siguientes:</p>
			<p>
				<list list-type="bullet">
					<list-item>
						<p>Control de sus propias necesidades formación profesional</p>
					</list-item>
					<list-item>
						<p>Dominio del contenido de la profesión relacionado con la atención a las necesidades educativas especiales</p>

					<list-item>
						<p>Participación en eventos científicos para la socialización de los resultados de sus investigaciones.</p>
					</list-item>
				</list>
			</p>
			<p>Estos indicadores fueron evaluados con las categorías Logrado Totalmente, Logrado Parcialmente y No Logrado. Se confeccionó una tabla para consignar las evaluaciones obtenidas en cada uno de los indicadores por los maestros de las diferentes escuelas</p>
			<p>Análisis del comportamiento de los indicadores en las categorías que se evaluaron para determinar el nivel de profesionalización alcanzado por los maestros primarios en la atención a la diversidad de educandos.</p>
			<p>
				<list list-type="bullet">
					<list-item>
						<p>En 9 de los maestros para un 37,5 %, se evaluó como Logrado Totalmente que tienen completo control de las necesidades de superación en relación con la atención a los educandos con necesidades educativas especiuales, los maestros refieren que se planifican acciones para dominar las particularidades de los educandos, el diseño de estrategias de autosuperación con el objetivo de mejorar su desempeño profesional. Se consideran como No Logrado 7 maestros primarios para un 29,1% y como Logrado Parcialmente en 8 para un 33,3%. Como tendencia se requiere trabajar en función de lograr un mayor autocontrol de las necesidades de formación por parte de los maestros primario en función de la atención a los educandos con necesidades educativas especiales.</p>
					</list-item>
					<list-item>
						<p>Referido al dominio del contenido de profesión relacionado con la atención a las necesidades educativas de los educandos que atienden. En este indicador se constata que 15 de los maestros (62,5%) refieren tener dificultades para identificar las necesidades educativas de los educandos, cuestión que dificulta en gran medida la toma de decisión en la solución de los problemas profesionales, solo 9 de los maestros (37,5%) muestran determinados conocimientos en relación con la atención a las necesidades educativa especiales de los educandos; por tal razón este indicador es evaluado de No Logrado.</p>
					</list-item>
					<list-item>
						<p>En el indicador “Conocimiento preciso y gradual de las necesidades de sus educandos” la tendencia se encuentra en la categoría de No Logrado en 18 de los maestros para un 75% de la muestra objeto de estudio.</p>
					</list-item>
					<list-item>
						<p>Intervención oportuna a través de estrategias adecuadas para la solución de los problemas profesionales. Se aprecia que Logrado Totalmente se encuentra en 6 de los maestros para un 25% del total de 24 maestros objetos de investigación, estos conocen con precisión las necesidades de los educados que atiende y trazan acertadas estrategias para la atención oportuna a las problemáticas que pueden presentarse durante el proceso docente educativo. Los restantes maestros se ubican en las categorías siguientes: Logrado Parcialmente 4 maestros para un 16,6% y No Logrado en 14 maestros lo que representa un 58,3%.</p>
					</list-item>
					<list-item>
						<p>Como tendencia el indicador “Uso adecuado de los medios de la informática y las comunicaciones” se considera como No Logrado al alcanzar el 54,1%.</p>
					</list-item>
					<list-item>
						<p>El 66,6% (16 maestros primarios) determina la tendencia a No Logrado en el indicador “Uso de métodos científicos de investigación para estudiar las causas de los problemas presentes en sus educandos”.</p>
					</list-item>
					<list-item>
						<p>Participación en eventos científicos para la socialización de los resultados de sus investigaciones. La categoría de Logrado Totalmente en este indicador alcanza el 20,8% (5). No Logrado alcanza el 70,8% (17), y Logrado Parcialmente en un 8,3% (2)</p>
					</list-item>
				</list>
			</p>
			<p>Como se puede apreciar solo el indicador “Control de sus necesidades de formación profesional” tiene como tendencia estar en la categoría Logrado Totalmente con un 37,5%. Los indicadores evaluados con las categorías de No Logrado y Logrado Parcialmente constituyen puntos de atención de manera significativa en esta investigación para la búsqueda de una vía efectiva y eficaz para su solución</p>
			<p>En relación con lo descrito anteriormente es necesaria la formación de un maestro primario que muestre un desempeño profesional pedagógico en correspondencia con el contexto de actuación donde se desenvuelva, que esto le permita resolver los problemas profesionales que se presenten, como muestra de su elevado nivel de profesionalización.</p>
		</sec>

				<title>Introduction</title>
				<p>The professionalization of elementary school teachers is a high priority in Cuban education today, considering that elementary education is in its third transformation process. It is undeniable that since the revolutionary triumph in 1959, Cuba has created a robust educational system that is admired by many countries. </p>
				<p>In order to sustain this educational system, a group of professionals is needed to reach higher and higher levels of teaching professionalization, put into practice in a more efficient pedagogical professional performance, in correspondence with the diversity of students present today in elementary schools.</p>
				<p>The topic addressed is of research interest in different spheres (international, national and regional) in which the province of Matanzas is no stranger. The diversity of students with special educational needs associated or not to a disability is becoming more and more present in elementary schools every day, for such reasons, teachers with a professional pedagogical performance more adjusted to the new times are required.</p>
				<p>The educational attention to this diversity of learners implies that the current Elementary Education teacher assumes a permanent pedagogical position that includes the cultural, gender, developmental and learning differences of children, adolescents and young people as the basis for increasingly inclusive practices. This is why it is of vital importance to train a more competent elementary teacher, who stimulates and develops the personality in a comprehensive manner, based on a basic and specialized preparation within the framework of the broad profile of the career (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B7">Milanés, 2020</xref>).</p>
				<p>In the case of the Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education, this broad profile currently allows to have a graduate who meets certain requirements to exercise coeducation and work in a school open to diversity, as well as to achieve a differentiated attention to their students, from a basic and specialized preparation, adjusted to the diversity in the classroom, but in many cases this is not achieved in its entirety.</p>
				<p>In this sense, it is urgently necessary to achieve a professionalization of the primary teacher in the educational attention to these students, where the education professional develops the necessary skills and abilities to undertake such a complex task.</p>
			</sec>
			<sec sec-type="results">
				<title>Development</title>
				<p>It is important to recognize the need for the professionalization of elementary school teachers as a response to the achievement of educational attention to the diversity of learners. In search of concreteness and contextualization about the professionalization of the Elementary Education teacher, the studies carried out by international and national authors are systematized, such as: <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B1">Añorga, (2012</xref>), <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B6">Rodríguez, (2015</xref>), <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B3">Gato and Madera, (2017</xref>), <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B4">Martín, A. and García, I (2018</xref>), <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B5">Rivero et al., (2019</xref>), <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B8">Ruíz and Santos de León, (2020</xref>).</p>
				<p>The aforementioned authors agree in considering the professionalization of the elementary teacher, as a special pedagogical process, which has its genesis in the initial training, goes up to permanent training, is aimed at improving the professional pedagogical performance and has a continuous development, with a humanistic character. </p>
				<p>The topic finds continuity in the institutional research project: &quot;The preparation of Elementary Education teachers for the educational inclusion of students with special educational needs in Matanzas province&quot;. The inquiries carried out during the study of the topic, allowed the identification of existing limitations in the preparation of the elementary teacher, in relation to the professionalization for the educational attention to the diversity of students present today in the elementary school.</p>
				<p>As part of the transformations taking place today in Elementary Education as a result of the ongoing process of improvement, an education professional is needed with certain special knowledge, new modes of action, based on scientific methods, contextualized to the new scenarios represented by the group of learners he/she serves, so that professionalization plays a very important role in this process.</p>
				<p>The analysis of the ideas expressed by the aforementioned researchers allows us to determine points of convergence in which professionalization as a process makes possible the design of training processes for professionals under certain practices, in school contexts, which accentuates the dialectic relationship between these contexts and others that oppose each other. </p>
				<p>They also value professionalization through three main dimensions: the deep mastery of theoretical knowledge that sustains the profession, a dialectic relationship between thinking and doing, governed by human values, and a solid cognitive independence. </p>
				<p>In the same direction, they consider that professionalization as a process should contribute to the formation and development of the professional mode of action, from a solid understanding of the role, tasks and functions, expressed in the characterization of the object, the logic and methods of science, the logic of the profession and a given historical context. This process influences economic growth and material welfare, can help society to identify its problems and potentialities; it contributes to the humanization of the learner and his or her training for the world of work.</p>
				<p>As another essential aspect, they emphasize the need for requirements such as: active and conscious attitude to achieve learning goals of the subject in training, practical-research training, training in different scenarios (school and community), self-regulation, linking study with work and theory with practice, among others.</p>
				<p>For these authors, the fact of assuming professionalization as a process facilitates the transformation of the problem of the integral formation of the professional, without ignoring the relationship between the scientific-professional and the social conditioning factors, in addition to considering the establishment of didactic models for the teaching-educational process (essential relations, laws, systems of principles). These positions, in relation to professionalization as a process, become a guide to understand the professionalization of elementary teachers.</p>
				<p>It is also argued that professionalization, by becoming a way to solve society's problems, acquires three fundamental dimensions: professional mastery of theoretical knowledge, a dialectical relationship between thinking and doing, governed by solid values, as well as a solid cognitive independence, which helps society to identify its needs and potentialities, contributes and facilitates the modeling of the process of training professionals in correspondence with the profile.</p>
				<p>This article assumes the idea that the professionalization of the teacher </p>
				<p>It is a special pedagogical process, aimed at improving the professional pedagogical performance, based on the diagnosis of their educational needs and potentialities for the appropriation of knowledge, skills, attitudes and pedagogical values that allow them to place themselves at the height of their time and the ever-growing demands of society (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B2">Barbón and Añorga, 2017</xref>. p.6).</p>
				<p>According to <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B9">Valcárcel et al., (2014</xref>), a teacher is considered to have reached high levels of professionalization, when:</p>

				<p>The evaluation of the professionalization of the elementary teacher for the attention to the diversity of learners present in their classroom, was carried out through indicators determined from those proposed by <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B9">Valcárcel et al., (2014</xref>), for this study a study group was used represented by 24 elementary teachers belonging to different schools in the municipality of Matanzas: (José Antonio Echeverría(6 teachers), Yes For Cuba (15 teachers) and Julián Alemán (3 teachers) who attend a total of 8 learners with special educational needs in the period November 2022 February 2023. The seven indicators determined for this study were the following:</p>
				<p>
					<list list-type="bullet">
						<list-item>
							<p>Control of their own professional training needs</p>
						</list-item>
						<list-item>
							<p>Mastery of the content of the profession related to special educational needs care</p>
						</list-item>
						<list-item>
							<p>Accurate and gradual knowledge of the needs of their learners.</p>
						</list-item>
						<list-item>
							<p>Timely intervention through appropriate strategies for the solution of professional problems.</p>
						</list-item>
						<list-item>
							<p>Appropriate use of computer and communications media.</p>
						</list-item>
						<list-item>
							<p>Use of scientific research methods to study the causes of the problems present in their students. </p>
						</list-item>
						<list-item>
							<p>Participation in scientific events for the socialization of the results of their research.</p>
						</list-item>
					</list>
				</p>
				<p>These indicators were evaluated with the categories Fully Achieved, Partially Achieved and Not Achieved. A table was prepared to record the evaluations obtained in each of the indicators by the teachers of the different schools.</p>
				<p>Analysis of the behavior of the indicators in the categories that were evaluated to determine the level of professionalization achieved by the elementary teachers in the attention to the diversity of students.</p>
				<p>In 9 of the teachers (37.5%), it was evaluated as Fully Achieved that they have complete control of the improvement needs in relation to the attention to students with special educational needs, the teachers refer that actions are planned to master the particularities of the students, the design of self-improvement strategies with the objective of improving their professional performance. Seven elementary school teachers are considered as Not Achieved (29.1%) and 8 as Partially Achieved (33.3%). As a tendency, it is necessary to work in order to achieve a greater self-control of the training needs of elementary teachers in terms of the attention to students with special educational needs.</p>
				<p>Referred to the mastery of the content of the profession related to the attention to the educational needs of the learners they serve. This indicator shows that 15 of the teachers (62.5%) report having difficulties in identifying the educational needs of the learners, an issue that makes it very difficult to make decisions in the solution of professional problems, only 9 of the teachers (37.5%) show certain knowledge in relation to the attention to the special educational needs of the learners; for this reason, this indicator is evaluated as Not Achieved.</p>
				<p>In the indicator &quot;Accurate and gradual knowledge of the needs of their learners&quot; the tendency is in the category of Not Achieved in 18 of the teachers for 75% of the sample under study.</p>
				<p>Timely intervention through appropriate strategies for the solution of professional problems. It can be seen that 6 of the teachers (25% of the total of 24 teachers who were the object of the research) have a precise knowledge of the needs of the students they serve and they devise appropriate strategies for timely attention to the problems that may arise during the teaching-educational process. The remaining teachers are located in the following categories: Partially Achieved 4 teachers for 16.6% and Not Achieved in 14 teachers representing 58.3%.</p>
				<p>As a tendency, the indicator &quot;Adequate use of computer and communications media&quot; is considered as Not Achieved, reaching 54.1%.</p>
				<p>66.6% (16 elementary teachers) determine the tendency to Not Achieved in the indicator &quot;Use of scientific research methods to study the causes of the problems present in their students&quot;.</p>
				<p>Participation in scientific events for the socialization of the results of their research. The category of Fully Achieved in this indicator reaches 20.8% (5). Not Achieved reaches 70.8% (17), and Partially Achieved 8.3% (2).</p>
				<p>As can be seen, only the indicator &quot;Control of professional training needs&quot; tends to be in the Fully Achieved category with 37.5%. The indicators evaluated with the categories of Not Achieved and Partially Achieved constitute significant points of attention in this research for the search of an effective and efficient way for their solution.</p>
				<p>In relation to what has been described above, it is necessary to train a elementary school teacher who shows a professional pedagogical performance in correspondence with the context in which he/she works, which will allow him/her to solve the professional problems that arise, as a sign of his/her high level of professionalization.</p>

				<title>Conclusions</title>
				<p>The preparation of the elementary school teacher for professional purposes is assumed as a source that promotes their pedagogical and human professional improvement in the process of professionalization for the care of students with special educational needs. The analysis of the processing of the data obtained in the processing of the evaluation of the indicators of professionalization of the elementary school teacher allows to outline strategies that favor the solution to the present research problem: the professionalization of the elementary school teacher for the attention to the special educational needs of the students he/she attends.</p>
