            <title>RESUMEN</title>
            <bold> </bold>
            <p>La propuesta  es el resultado de una tesis de doctorado, lo cual aporta una sistematización teórica de la independencia cognoscitiva y de cómo implementarse en el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje en una carrera en el caso específico de la carrera Logopedia. Se desarrolló en el período de 2015-2022 y toma una muestra de 8 profesores y 22 estudiantes de esta carrera. Se apoyó en métodos teóricos como el estudio documental y el análisis y la síntesis que permitieron de manera sintética llegar a generalizaciones que pueden ser socializados en otras carreras. Los resultados se validaron mediante la triangulación metodológica, permitiendo demostrar su novedad, pertinencia y factibilidad.</p>

         <title>Introducción</title>
         <bold> </bold>
         <p>El desarrollar la independencia cognoscitiva siempre ha sido una meta a alcanzar en las distintas sociedades por medio de la educación, sin embargo aunque los esfuerzos son muchos en los momentos actuales no se ha cumplido con este propósito.</p>
         <p>Las universidades en su esencia desea formar hombres independientes para ello se necesita de perfeccionar los métodos y estilos de trabajo que rompan los esquemas tradicionales, pero en ocasiones no se cuentan con el personal competente para el mismo.</p>
         <p>De ahí que resulta imprescindible  el cambio desde las diferentes funciones de trabajo tanto científico como metodológico que hagan perceptible en su cotidianeidad la independencia cognoscitiva ante cualquier circunstancia.</p>
         <p> Es por ello que en la presente investigación se identifique como problema científico: ¿Cómo contribuir a estimular la independencia cognoscitiva de los estudiantes de la carrera Logopedia desde el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje?</p>
         <p>Para lo cual se concibe en ofrecer al docente de la carrera una sistematización conceptual de independencia cognoscitiva y cómo lograrlo desde un proceso de enseñanza -aprendizaje flexible y desarrollador. </p>
         <p>La muestra se conformó por 8 profesores del colectivo de año de Logopedia y 22 estudiantes del segundo año de la carrera.</p>
         <bold> </bold>
         <p>Para el desarrollo de dicha investigación, se aplicaron diferentes métodos teóricos (histórico- lógico, Analítico - sintético, análisis documental); métodos empíricos (la observación, la entrevista, el cuestionario, Revisión documental) y el  método matemático-estadístico (análisis porcentual).</p>

         <title>Desarrollo</title>
         <bold> </bold>
         <p>I-La independencia cognoscitiva en la carrera de Logopedia</p>
         <bold> </bold>
         <p>La independencia cognoscitiva en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de los estudiantes de la carrera Logopedia está condicionada por la adecuada relación entre la actividad y la comunicación. Esta última sirve de mediadora para que la actividad tenga lugar en el proceso y su desarrollo, depende del grado de independencia con que los estudiantes logren la planificación y organización de la actividad.</p>
         <p>El problema de la estimulación de la independencia cognoscitiva en el proceso de enseñanza - aprendizaje  tiene un carácter social, por cuanto es un fenómeno que está presente en el proceso educativo e incide en la formación integral y multifacética de los estudiantes en los contextos de actuación.</p>
         <p>La independencia cognoscitiva le permite al estudiante asimilar y objetivar los contenidos específicos de la carrera para interactuar con los demás miembros de su grupo de aprendizaje, de su familia o comunidad, y a su vez, reelaborar, transformar y socializar sus conocimientos, hábitos y habilidades como parte de su educación para la vida con carácter significativo y desarrollador.</p>
         <p>El carácter significativo y desarrollador del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje en la carrera Logopedia tiene su base en los aportes de <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B9">Vigotsky (1988)</xref>, al enunciar su ley de la doble formación de los procesos psíquicos superiores, según la cual plantea que en el desarrollo cultural del niño toda función aparece dos veces, primero a nivel social, y más tarde a nivel individual, primero en un plano ínter psicológico y después intra psicológico. Esta ley es importante para la formación del maestro logopeda en tanto este debe saber en la formación del lenguaje del niño cómo se estructura internamente el lenguaje, su formación desde los contextos sociales, la maduración de los órganos que intervienen en dicho proceso y su estrecha relación con el pensamiento, para posteriormente proceder desde su manifestación externa con la intervención del logopeda para el uso adecuado de la lengua.</p>
         <p>El desarrollo humano se basa en dos procesos distintos y relacionados entre sí: la maduración y el aprendizaje. La primera prepara y condiciona al segundo, pero el aprendizaje estimula y potencia la maduración.</p>
         <p>El estudiante de Logopedia no debe conformarse con hablar bien: debe buscar todas las vías para hablar excelentemente y corregir en los demás los trastornos del lenguaje o la comunicación que puedan presentarse en su entorno social.</p>
         <p>II. Sistematización conceptual de la independencia cognoscitiva</p>
         <bold> </bold>
         <p>El estudio de la independencia cognoscitiva como fenómeno gnoseológico tiene como base la teoría dialéctico-materialista del conocimiento, la cual demuestra las limitaciones de los postulados metafísicos, contemplativos e idealistas de los filósofos pre-marxistas. Entre sus principios se encuentran: el materialismo, el reflejo, el desarrollo y la práctica, los cuales constituyen ideas rectoras que dirigen la actividad del hombre en sociedad. </p>
         <p>Es por ello que la teoría dialéctico-materialista del conocimiento constituye un referente fundamental para otras teorías científicas, como es el caso de las teorías de la actividad, la comunicación y el aprendizaje tan necesarias  para estimular la independencia cognoscitiva en las personas.</p>
         <p>La valoración conceptual de la independencia cognoscitiva conduce a significar los trabajos de autores que se destacan en este campo. Entre ellos se encuentra Rubinstein quien define  la independencia cognoscitiva como “la motivación consciente de las acciones y su fundamentación”. <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B8">Rubinstein (1967, p. 46) </xref>En esta enunciación se observa un marcado énfasis en la esfera motivacional de la personalidad; sin embargo, no se descarta lo cognitivo-instrumental y prevalece lo psicológico sobre lo pedagógico.</p>
         <p>Por su parte, <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B7">Rojas (1978)</xref> expresa que la independencia es una cualidad de la personalidad que se caracteriza por dos factores: en primer lugar, por un conjunto de medios que adquiere el individuo. Conocimientos, habilidades y hábitos, y en segundo lugar, por las relaciones de los individuos hacia el proceso de la actividad, sus resultados y condiciones de realización. </p>
         <p>En esta definición cobra mayor fuerza lo socializador sobre lo individual al entender la independencia como una cualidad y no como capacidad lo cual limita el aspecto interno del individuo como ser bio-psico-social. Aun así en gran medida dicho punto de vista es compartido por el autor de la tesis.</p>
         <p>Para <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B2">Dubrocp (1980)</xref>, la independencia cognoscitiva consiste en la capacidad del hombre de formular y resolver los problemas cognoscitivos con sus propias fuerzas. En ese sentido, lo interno prevalece sobre las influencias externas, lo cual  marca la influencia del factor biológico sobre el factor social.</p>
         <p>Por su parte <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B6">Majmutov (1983</xref>) entiende por independencia cognoscitiva la existencia de una capacidad intelectual en el estudiante y el desarrollo de habilidades para dividir los rasgos esenciales y secundarios de los objetos, fenómenos y procesos de la realidad y mediante la abstracción y la generalización revelar la esencia de los conceptos nuevos.</p>
         <p> Tal definición tiene como limitación que solo centra el estudio en el estudiante y no se tienen en cuenta otros agentes socializadores que influyen en el desarrollo de la personalidad en los diferentes contextos donde estos se desempeñan.</p>
         <p>En otro orden <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B5">López (1997</xref>) considera la independencia cognoscitiva como una cualidad de la personalidad que se caracteriza esencialmente por el dominio de un conjunto de medios, entre los cuales se incluyen conocimientos, habilidades y hábitos y por las relaciones de los individuos hacia el proceso de la actividad, sus resultados y condiciones. </p>
         <p>Con esta definición se supera la de <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B7">Rojas (1978)</xref> en tanto no se concibe el conjunto de medios  como dos factores aislados, sino como el dominio de este conjunto como un todo, aspecto que se coincide con el autor referido.</p>
         <p>El investigador <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B4">Lima (2001</xref>) plantea que la independencia cognoscitiva se define como la capacidad para pensar y trabajar con originalidad por sí mismo, así como para vencer eficientemente con métodos los inconvenientes que surgen en el proceso socioeducativo. </p>
         <p>En la anterior definición el autor se subscribe solamente al acto de pensar y no tiene en cuenta otras cualidades de la personalidad como pueden ser la imaginación y la memoria, tan importantes para estimular la independencia cognoscitiva. También destaca el trabajo de manera independiente y otorga poco valor a la influencia externa de los agentes que intervienen en el desarrollo del individuo. </p>
         <p>Al evaluar la definición de <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B1">Carballo (2010</xref>), se aprecia que concibe el desarrollo de la independencia cognoscitiva de los estudiantes en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje del idioma inglés en el preuniversitario asociado a la elaboración didáctica de la tarea de aprendizaje. Con ello limita su alcance al preuniversitario y solamente tiene en cuenta la tarea de aprendizaje como una de las vías para alcanzar la independencia cognoscitiva.</p>
         <p>En las definiciones anteriores sobre independencia cognoscitiva se identifican como elementos comunes que se asume la capacidad desarrollada por los individuos desde la actividad que genera, tanto por el esfuerzo intelectual como el desarrollo integral de los estudiantes en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje lo cual denota la necesidad de seguir profundizando este estudio desde los diferentes niveles de enseñanza.</p>
         <p>Por interés de esta investigación se considera importante definir la Estimulación de la independencia cognoscitiva: como el sistema de influencias que utiliza el profesor para mediar entre el contenido de enseñanza y el desempeño cognitivo del estudiante con la utilización de recursos didácticos metodológicos (RDM) que promueva su actuación independiente en situaciones de aprendizaje (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B3">Durán, 2015</xref>).</p>
         <p>Entendiéndose como mediación del profesor a la orientación e intervención del profesor para estimular la independencia cognoscitiva de sus estudiantes mediante el uso adecuado de los componentes del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje, apoyado por recursos didáctico-metodológicos (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B3">Durán, 2015</xref>).</p>
         <p>Como desempeño cognitivo de los estudiantes  los niveles  de motivación, de asimilación y el uso de niveles de ayuda para la realización de tareas de aprendizaje teniendo en cuenta lo alcanzado, lo que falta por alcanzar y lo que hay que superar (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B3">Durán, 2015</xref>).</p>
         <p>Como recursos didáctico-metodológicos al proceder del profesor mediante la utilización de un sistema de medios materiales o no que facilitan la solución de una tarea de aprendizaje determinada con la independencia cognoscitiva que ella exige por parte del estudiante. (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B3">Durán, 2015</xref>)</p>
         <p>En esta definición se puede apreciar que se:</p>
         <p>
            <list list-type="order">
               <list-item>
                  <p> Hace referencia de recurso como un sistema, categoría superior a la de conjunto, que indica cierta dispersión.</p>
               </list-item>
               <list-item>
                  <p> Se habla de medios materiales o no materiales, lo cual engloba no solo lo físico, lo palpable, sino también lo perceptible, lo intelectual, lo psicológico.</p>
               </list-item>
               <list-item>
                  <p> Se señala que posibilitan la solución de tareas de aprendizaje de manera independiente, lo que exige y garantiza una mayor preparación del estudiante al realizarla.</p>
               </list-item>
            </list>
         </p>
         <p>Para tener una idea clara y precisa de cómo interactúan estos elementos en el proceso de enseñanza- aprendizaje ha de tenerse en cuenta la orientación para estimular la independencia cognoscitiva </p>
         <p>II- Orientación para estimular la independencia cognoscitiva desde el proceso de enseñanza- aprendizaje </p>
         <bold> </bold>
         <p>La orientación permite el trabajo cooperado y participativo en los contextos de aprendizaje con el fin de resolver problemas que surgen de los diferentes contextos de desempeño cognitivo, aplicando los conocimientos y habilidades adquiridos en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje. </p>
         <p>El profesor en su actuar metodológico debe tener presente las siguientes interrogantes:</p>
         <p> ¿Qué se aprende?  Toda la cultura humana que aporta la sociedad.</p>
         <p>¿Cómo se aprende? En este momento se introduce a los profesores en los métodos y procedimientos desarrolladores, los cuales  abordan y priorizan:</p>
         <p>
            <list list-type="bullet">
               <list-item>
                  <p>Los métodos problemáticos y el uso de estrategias de aprendizaje: por su incidencia en el desarrollo de la actividad productivo - creadora y su empleo en el diseño de tareas.</p>
               </list-item>
               <list-item>
                  <p>Los procedimientos metacognitivos: por su incidencia en la preparación de los docentes para el despliegue de su actividad metacognitiva en la solución del problema planteado  y su extrapolación al diseño de tareas de aprendizaje.</p>
               </list-item>
               <list-item>
                  <p>Los procedimientos didácticos desarrolladores: por su empleo en el diseño de las tareas de aprendizaje.</p>
               </list-item>
            </list>
         </p>
         <p>¿En qué condiciones se aprende? Se ha diseñado este eslabón para preparar a los docentes en el papel del trabajo cooperativo, la comunicación y su importancia en  el tránsito hacia otras “Zonas de Desarrollo Próximo”, bajo el sustento teórico del enfoque histórico-cultural  de Vigotsky.</p>
         <p>
            <list list-type="bullet">
               <list-item>
                  <p> El análisis del papel del aprendizaje cooperativo a través de actividades conscientemente diseñadas para este fin, juega un importante papel para introducir conocimientos de dinámica grupal que ayudan a la creación de un clima favorable para el aprendizaje.</p>
               </list-item>
            </list>
         </p>
         <p>Cómo debe ser el tratamiento a los componentes (No personales) del proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje para lograr la independencia cognoscitiva:</p>
         <p>El profesor debe mostrar al estudiante cómo desarrollar la orientación desde <bold>el objetivo</bold> hasta las habilidades y los conocimientos necesarios para alcanzarlos, según el grado de desarrollo logrado No solo debe declararlos, sino concertar acciones para que el estudiante se apropie de estos y le permitan conocer la identificación de los niveles de aprendizaje alcanzados y de los que aún le falta, así como trazar los pasos a seguir para conseguirlos y superarlos.</p>
         <p> En relación con la orientación del objetivo, es necesario que desde el colectivo de año se consideren los objetivos específicos para el tratamiento logopédico como son: instaurar, automatizar y generalizar. Los profesores de cada asignatura deben relacionarlos con los contenidos que imparten para la integración necesaria con la especialidad, lo cual favorecerá en años posteriores un buen tratamiento logopédico</p>
         <p>En cuanto a la orientación del <bold>contenido</bold> debe estar complementada por precisiones sobre cómo asimilarlo, mediante la delimitación de las acciones que realiza el estudiante de manera independiente. Desde tal percepción este debe ser capaz de conocer hasta dónde llegan sus conocimientos, las insuficiencias y dificultades para ejecutar cualquier tarea de aprendizaje para su profesión o en la utilización de recursos didácticos para la solución de los problemas con y sin ayuda.</p>
         <p>El contenido no puede ser para el profesor una simple transmisión de conocimientos, habilidades, hábitos o valores, Debe ser, por el contrario, una influencia positiva para desarrollar y estimular en los estudiantes el deseo y la necesidad del autoestudio, el autoaprendizaje y la auto-preparación de forma tal que les permita en su desempeño cognitivo desenvolverse de manera independiente en cualquier contexto donde se encuentren. (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B3">Durán, 2015</xref>).</p>
         <p>Un buen contenido no es debidamente concretado si no se tiene en cuenta la buena utilización de métodos que para lograr la independencia cognoscitiva se sugiere utilizar los productivos, en un proceso en que el estudiante ha de participar activamente y obtener resultados concretos en la práctica y en la teoría. </p>
         <p>Estos pueden ser problemáticos o no, pero sí deben tener cierta dosis de desafío para el estudiante que lo condicione a fijarse metas propias y a esforzarse por alcanzarlas. Explicar técnicas, analogías, dramatizaciones, aprendizaje multisensorial, desarrollo de habilidades de pensamiento lógico y divergente, proponer y orientar el trabajo independiente en correspondencia con el sistema de tareas docentes de manera que forme un sistema articulado con este.</p>
         <p>Por otra parte, siempre que las condiciones lo permitan, al inicio, durante la realización o al final de una tarea, es importante valorar cómo se sienten los estudiantes, que esperan lograr o qué lograron, cómo están trabajando, qué métodos y estrategias utilizan, qué les resulta más fácil o difícil; de forma tal que aprendan a conocerse a sí mismos, se autovaloren y controlen su actuación presente y futura, así mismo se han de aprovechar al máximo la reflexión y el trabajo en grupos docentes y especiales, en un equilibrio adecuado con el trabajo individualizado de acuerdo con los intereses y posibilidades de cada uno.</p>
         <p>En cuanto a los <bold>medios de enseñanza</bold> el profesor debe mantener una autopreparación permanente que le permita usar los medios en función del autoaprendizaje y aprendizaje de los estudiantes. No debe actuarse como un reproductor del contenido sino que hay que tener en cuenta  los requisitos para la selección, diseño, elaboración y utilización de los medios para que se  propicie mediante ellos el análisis, la reflexión y la generalización de lo aprendido.</p>
         <p>La <bold>evaluación</bold> constituye el componente que retroalimenta el proceso en todas sus aristas. Es necesario que el profesor realice, en mayor medida, acciones para el autocontrol y la autoevaluación del proceso de aprendizaje con la finalidad de elevar el desempeño metacognitivo de los estudiantes, como consecuencia, una concientización adecuada de su proceso cognitivo. Tal proceso debe realizarse de forma sistemática y dinámica; el profesor debe guiarlo y conducirlo con la implicación de formarlos como sujetos activos, reflexivos  y conscientes durante el control y valoración de sus aprendizajes y los de los demás, además que se ha de estimular el proceso de regulación y autorregulación partiendo del conocimiento actual y potencial de sus estudiantes para el alcance de niveles superiores en su aprendizaje y desarrollo.</p>
         <p>De manera particular hay que destacar la estrecha y necesaria relación entre todos los componentes del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje, de manera que propicie la estimulación de la independencia cognoscitiva de los estudiantes de la carrera Logopedia desde un proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje flexible y desarrollador.</p>
      </sec>
      <sec sec-type="conclusions">
         <title>Conclusiones</title>
         <bold> </bold>
         <p>Las consideraciones tratadas en el presente trabajo demuestran la importancia del trabajo por competencia para la  atención a alumnos que presentan disartria a partir de la formación del maestro logopeda,  y la profesionalización del docente en esta especialidad, a partir de estos fundamentos se ofrecen además  criterios metodológicos para el tratamiento logopédico con procedimientos y algunos ejemplos de cómo atender a alumnos con disartria, lo que permitirá elevar la calidad desde el procesos formativo de los estudiantes de la carrera Logopedia.</p>

            <title>ABSTRACT</title>
            <bold> </bold>
            <p>The proposal is the result of a doctoral thesis, which provides a theoretical systematization of cognitive independence and how to implement it in the teaching-learning process in a career in the specific case of the Speech Therapy career. It was developed in the period of 2015-2022 and takes a sample of 8 teachers and 22 students of this career. It was supported by theoretical methods such as the documentary study and the analysis and synthesis that allowed in a synthetic way to reach generalizations that can be socialized in other careers. The results were validated by means of methodological triangulation, allowing to demonstrate their novelty, pertinence and feasibility.</p>

            <title>Introduction</title>
            <bold> </bold>
            <p>The development of cognitive independence has always been a goal to be achieved in different societies through education, however, although the efforts are many at the present time this purpose has not been fulfilled.</p>
            <p>The universities in its essence want to form independent men and women, for this it is necessary to perfect the methods and styles of work that break the traditional schemes, but sometimes they do not have the competent personnel for the same. </p>
            <p>Hence, it is essential to change from the different scientific and methodological work functions that make perceptible in their daily life the cognitive independence in any circumstance.</p>
            <p> For this reason, the present research identifies as a scientific problem: How to contribute to stimulate the cognitive independence of the students of the Speech Therapy career from the teaching-learning process?</p>
            <p>For which it is conceived to offer the teacher of the career a conceptual systematization of cognitive independence and how to achieve it from a teaching-learning process flexible and developmental. </p>
            <p>The sample consisted of 8 teachers of the Speech Therapy year group and 22 students of the second year of the career.</p>
            <p>For the development of this research, different theoretical methods were applied (historical-logical, analytical-synthetic, documentary analysis); empirical methods (observation, interview, questionnaire, documentary review) and the mathematical-statistical method (percentage analysis).</p>

            <title>Development</title>

            <p>I-Cognitive independence in the Speech Therapy program</p>
            <bold> </bold>
            <p>Cognitive independence in the teaching-learning process of speech therapy students is conditioned by the adequate relationship between activity and communication. The latter serves as a mediator for the activity to take place in the process and its development depends on the degree of independence with which the students achieve the planning and organization of the activity.</p>
            <p>The problem of stimulating cognitive independence in the teaching-learning process has a social character, since it is a phenomenon that is present in the educational process and affects the integral and multifaceted formation of students in the contexts of action.</p>
            <p>Cognitive independence allows the student to assimilate and objectify the specific contents of the course in order to interact with the other members of his learning group, family or community, and in turn, to rework, transform and socialize his knowledge, habits and skills as part of his education for life with a meaningful and developmental character.</p>
            <p>The meaningful and developmental character of the teaching-learning process in the Speech Therapy career has its basis in the contributions of <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B9">Vigotsky (1988)</xref>, when stating his law of the double formation of higher psychic processes, according to which he states that in the cultural development of the child every function appears twice, first at a social level, and later at an individual level, first at an inter-psychological level and then at an intra-psychological level. This law is important for the training of the speech therapist teacher, as he/she must know in the formation of the child's language how language is internally structured, its formation from the social contexts, the maturation of the organs involved in this process and its close relationship with thought, to subsequently proceed from its external manifestation with the intervention of the speech therapist for the proper use of language.</p>
            <p>Human development is based on two distinct and interrelated processes: maturation and learning. The former prepares and conditions the latter, but learning stimulates and enhances maturation.</p>
            <p>The speech therapy student should not be satisfied with speaking well: he/she should seek all ways to speak excellently and correct in others the language or communication disorders that may arise in his/her social environment.</p>
            <p>II. Conceptual Systematization of Cognitive Independence</p>
            <bold> </bold>
            <p>The study of cognitive independence as a gnoseological phenomenon is based on the dialectical-materialist theory of knowledge, which demonstrates the limitations of the metaphysical, contemplative and idealist postulates of pre-Marxist philosophers. Among its principles are: materialism, reflection, development and practice, which constitute guiding ideas that direct the activity of man in society. </p>
            <p>That is why the dialectical-materialist theory of knowledge constitutes a fundamental reference for other scientific theories, as is the case of the theories of activity, communication and learning, so necessary to stimulate cognitive independence in people.</p>
            <p>The conceptual assessment of cognitive independence leads to highlight the work of authors who stand out in this field. Among them is Rubinstein who defines cognitive independence as "the conscious motivation of actions and their foundation". <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B8">Rubinstein (1967, p. 46)</xref> In this statement there is a marked emphasis on the motivational sphere of the personality; however, the cognitive-instrumental is not discarded and the psychological prevails over the pedagogical.</p>
            <p>For his part, <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B7">Rojas (1978)</xref> states that independence is a personality quality characterized by two factors: first, by a set of means acquired by the individual. Knowledge, skills and habits, and secondly, by the relationships of individuals towards the process of the activity, its results and conditions of realization. </p>
            <p>In this definition, the socializing aspect is stronger than the individual aspect, since independence is understood as a quality and not as a capacity, which limits the internal aspect of the individual as a bio-psycho-social being. Even so, to a large extent, this point of view is shared by the author of the thesis.</p>
            <p>For <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B2">Dubrocp (1980)</xref>, cognitive independence consists in man's capacity to formulate and solve cognitive problems with his own forces. In this sense, the internal prevails over external influences, which marks the influence of the biological factor over the social factor.</p>
            <p>For his part, <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B6">Majmutov (1983</xref>) understands cognitive independence as the existence of an intellectual capacity in the student and the development of abilities to divide the essential and secondary features of objects, phenomena and processes of reality and through abstraction and generalization to reveal the essence of new concepts.</p>
            <p> This definition has the limitation that it only focuses the study on the student and does not take into account other socializing agents that influence the development of the personality in the different contexts where they work.</p>
            <p>On the other hand, <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B5">López (1997</xref>) considers cognitive independence as a quality of the personality that is essentially characterized by the mastery of a set of means, among which are included knowledge, skills and habits, and by the relationships of individuals towards the process of the activity, its results and conditions. </p>
            <p>This definition goes beyond that of <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B7">Rojas (1978)</xref> in that it does not conceive the set of means as two isolated factors, but as the mastery of this set as a whole, an aspect that coincides with the aforementioned author.</p>
            <p>The researcher <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B4">Lima (2001</xref>) states that cognitive independence is defined as the capacity to think and work with originality by oneself, as well as to overcome efficiently with methods the inconveniences that arise in the socio-educational process. </p>
            <p>In the above definition, the author subscribes only to the act of thinking and does not take into account other qualities of the personality such as imagination and memory, which are so important to stimulate cognitive independence. He also emphasizes working independently and gives little value to the external influence of the agents involved in the development of the individual. </p>
            <p>When evaluating <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B1">Carballo's (2010</xref>) definition, it can be seen that it conceives the development of students' cognitive independence in the teaching-learning process of the English language in the pre-university associated with the didactic elaboration of the learning task. Thus, it limits its scope to the pre-university level and only takes into account the learning task as one of the ways to achieve cognitive independence.</p>
            <p>In the previous definitions of cognitive independence, it is identified as common elements that the capacity developed by individuals is assumed from the activity that it generates, both by the intellectual effort and the integral development of students in the teaching-learning process, which denotes the need to continue deepening this study from the different levels of education.</p>
            <p>For the interest of this research, it is considered important to define the Stimulation of cognitive independence: as the system of influences used by the teacher to mediate between the teaching content and the cognitive performance of the student with the use of methodological didactic resources (RDM) that promote their independent performance in learning situations (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B3">Durán, 2015</xref>).</p>
            <p>Teacher mediation is understood as the teacher's guidance and intervention to stimulate the cognitive independence of their students through the appropriate use of the components of the teaching-learning process, supported by didactic-methodological resources (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B3">Durán, 2015</xref>).</p>
            <p>As cognitive performance of students the levels of motivation, assimilation and the use of levels of assistance for the realization of learning tasks taking into account what has been achieved, what remains to be achieved and what needs to be overcome (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B3">Durán, 2015</xref>).</p>
            <p>As didactic-methodological resources to the teacher's procedure through the use of a system of material means or not that facilitate the solution of a given learning task with the cognitive independence that it demands from the student.(<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B3">Durán, 2015</xref>).</p>
            <p>In this definition it can be seen that it is:</p>

                     <p> It refers to a resource as a system, a category superior to that of the whole, which indicates a certain dispersion.</p>
                  </list-item>
                  <list-item>
                     <p> It refers to material or non-material means, which encompasses not only the physical, the palpable, but also the perceptible, the intellectual, the psychological.</p>
                  </list-item>
                  <list-item>
                     <p> It is pointed out that they make possible the solution of learning tasks independently, which demands and guarantees a greater preparation of the student when performing it.</p>
                  </list-item>
               </list>
            </p>
            <p>In order to have a clear and precise idea of how these elements interact in the teaching-learning process, the orientation to stimulate cognitive independence must be taken into account.</p>
            <p>II- Guidance for stimulating cognitive independence from the teaching-learning process</p>
            <bold> </bold>
            <p>Guidance allows cooperative and participatory work in learning contexts in order to solve problems arising from the different contexts of cognitive performance, applying the knowledge and skills acquired in the teaching and learning process. </p>
            <p>The teacher in his methodological action must keep in mind the following questions:</p>
            <p>What is learned?  All the human culture provided by society.</p>
            <p>How is it learned? At this time teachers are introduced to the methods and procedures developers, which they address and prioritize:</p>
            <p>
               <list list-type="bullet">
                  <list-item>
                     <p>The problematic methods and the use of learning strategies: for their incidence in the development of the productive-creative activity and their use in the design of tasks.</p>
                  </list-item>
                  <list-item>
                     <p>Metacognitive procedures: for their incidence in the preparation of teachers for the deployment of their metacognitive activity in the solution of the problem stated and their extrapolation to the design of learning tasks.</p>
                  </list-item>
                  <list-item>
                     <p>Didactic developmental procedures: for their use in the design of learning tasks.</p>
                  </list-item>
               </list>
            </p>
            <p>Under what conditions do we learn? This link has been designed to prepare teachers on the role of cooperative work, communication and its importance in the transition to other "Zones of Proximal Development", under the theoretical support of Vigotsky's historical-cultural approach.</p>
            <p>
               <list list-type="bullet">
                  <list-item>
                     <p>The analysis of the role of cooperative learning through consciously designed activities plays an important role in introducing knowledge of group dynamics that helps to create a favorable climate for learning.</p>
                  </list-item>
               </list>
            </p>
            <p>How should be the treatment of the (non-personal) components of the teaching-learning process to achieve cognitive independence:</p>
            <p>The teacher must show the student how to develop the orientation from the objective to the skills and knowledge necessary to achieve them, according to the degree of development achieved He must not only declare them, but also arrange actions for the student to appropriate them and allow him to know the identification of the learning levels achieved and those still lacking, as well as to trace the steps to follow to achieve and overcome them.</p>
            <p> In relation to the orientation of the objective, it is necessary that from the year group the specific objectives for the logopedic treatment are considered, such as: to establish, to automate and to generalize. The teachers of each subject should relate them to the contents they teach for the necessary integration with the specialty, which will favor in later years a good logopedic treatment.</p>
            <p>As for the orientation of the <bold>content</bold>, it must be complemented by precisions on how to assimilate it, through the delimitation of the actions that the student performs independently. From this perception, the student must be able to know the extent of his knowledge, the insufficiencies and difficulties to execute any learning task for his profession or in the use of didactic resources for the solution of problems with and without help.</p>
            <p>The content cannot be for the teacher a simple transmission of knowledge, skills, habits or values. It must be, on the contrary, a positive influence to develop and stimulate in the students the desire and the need for self-study, self-learning and self-preparation in such a way that allows them in their cognitive performance to develop independently in any context where they are (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B3">Durán, 2015</xref>).</p>
            <p>A good content is not duly specified if it does not take into account the good use of methods that, in order to achieve cognitive independence, it is suggested to use productive methods, in a process in which the student must actively participate and obtain concrete results in practice and in theory. </p>
            <p>These can be problematic or not, but they must have a certain dose of challenge for the student that conditions him to set his own goals and to strive to achieve them. Explaining techniques, analogies, dramatizations, multisensory learning, development of logical and divergent thinking skills, proposing and guiding independent work in correspondence with the system of teaching tasks so that it forms an articulated system with it.</p>
            <p>On the other hand, whenever the conditions allow it, at the beginning, during or at the end of a task, it is important to assess how the students feel, what they expect to achieve or what they achieved, how they are working, what methods and strategies they use, what is easier or more difficult for them; so that they learn to know themselves, self-evaluate and control their present and future performance, and take full advantage of reflection and work in teaching and special groups, in an appropriate balance with individualized work according to the interests and possibilities of each one.</p>
            <p>Regarding the <bold>teaching media</bold>, the teacher must maintain a permanent self-preparation that allows him/her to use the media in function of the students' self-learning and learning. He/she should not act as a reproducer of the content, but should take into account the requirements for the selection, design, elaboration and use of the media so that the analysis, reflection and generalization of what has been learned can be propitiated through them.</p>
            <p>Evaluation is the component that provides feedback to the process in all its aspects. It is necessary that the teacher performs, to a greater extent, actions for self-monitoring and self-evaluation of the learning process with the purpose of raising the students' metacognitive performance, as a consequence, an adequate awareness of their cognitive process. Such process must be carried out in a systematic and dynamic way; the teacher must guide and lead it with the implication of forming them as active, reflexive and conscious subjects during the control and evaluation of their learning and that of others, in addition to stimulating the process of regulation and self-regulation based on the current and potential knowledge of their students to reach higher levels in their learning and development.</p>
            <p>In particular, it is necessary to emphasize the close and necessary relationship between all the components of the teaching-learning process, in order to promote the stimulation of the cognitive independence of the students of the Speech Therapy career from a flexible and developmental teaching-learning process.</p>

            <title>Conclusions</title>
            <bold> </bold>
            <p>The considerations discussed in this paper demonstrate the importance of work by competence for the care of students with dysarthria from the training of the speech therapist teacher, and the professionalization of the teacher in this specialty, from these foundations are also offered methodological criteria for speech therapy with procedures and some examples of how to care for students with dysarthria, which will raise the quality from the training process of students in the Speech Therapy career.</p>
