		<p>“La docencia universitaria en tiempos de IA”, libro editado por Rosana <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B1">Satorre Cuerda; fue publicado por la Editorial Octoedro en noviembre del 2024</xref>; ofrece una profunda reflexión sobre cómo la inteligencia artificial está transformando la enseñanza universitaria, abordando tanto los desafíos como las oportunidades que presenta. <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B1">Satorre (2024</xref>). Con contribuciones de diversos autores y un riguroso proceso de revisión por pares, esta obra es un recurso valioso para educadores y académicos interesados en la innovación educativa.</p>
		<p>El libro reseñado según expresa la autora es un testimonio elocuente de los trabajos desarrollados con el objetivo de la mejora de la enseñanza universitaria en la Universidad de Alicante. Tras 22 años de incansable dedicación a la mejora de la docencia universitaria, las Jornadas de Redes de Investigación en Docencia Universitaria (REDES) y el Workshop Internacional de Innovación en Enseñanza Superior y TIC (INNOVAESTIC) de la Universidad de Alicante se han convertido en un pilar sólido y esencial en nuestro compromiso con la excelencia educativa. Lo que la conllevó a realizar la compilación y la edición del libro.</p>
		<p>El libro aborda una variedad de temas relacionados con la integración de la inteligencia artificial en la educación superior. Algunos de los temas incluyen: Validación de cuestionarios sobre la perspectiva docente ante la inteligencia artificial generativa. Estrategias de enseñanza para desarrollar el pensamiento crítico en estudiantes de historia. Comprensión lectora y aprendizaje activo mediante lectura dialógica digital con IA. Impacto de la gamificación digital y la inteligencia artificial en tutorías grupales. Oportunidades de aprendizaje personalizado e inclusivo para alumnado con necesidades educativas especiales. Propuestas metodológicas para la enseñanza en contextos gráficos arquitectónicos utilizando IA. Autores que contribuyeron a esta publicación: </p>
		<p>El libro incluye contribuciones de varios autores, entre ellos: Antonia Cascales Martínez, Sara Patricia López Ros, y Mª Ángeles Gomariz Vicente. Cristina de-la-Peña y María Jesús Luque-Rojas. 		<p>El libro está compuesto por 8 capítulos y tiene un total de 108 páginas. Los capítulos del libro abordan los siguientes temas: Capítulo 1: Introducción a la inteligencia artificial en la educación superior y su relevancia actual. Capítulo 2: Validación de cuestionarios sobre la perspectiva docente ante la inteligencia artificial generativa. Capítulo 3: Estrategias de enseñanza para desarrollar el pensamiento crítico en estudiantes de historia. Capítulo 4: Comprensión lectora y aprendizaje activo mediante lectura dialógica digital con IA. Capítulo 5: Impacto de la gamificación digital y la inteligencia artificial en tutorías grupales. Capítulo 6: Oportunidades de aprendizaje personalizado e inclusivo para alumnado con necesidades educativas especiales. Capítulo 7: Propuestas metodológicas para la enseñanza en contextos gráficos arquitectónicos utilizando IA. Capítulo 8: Reflexiones finales sobre el futuro de la docencia y el aprendizaje en un mundo con IA.</p>
		<p>Cada uno de los capítulos reflejan la diversidad de enfoques y aplicaciones de la inteligencia artificial en el ámbito educativo. Según el texto, se espera que la inteligencia artificial transforme la relación entre estudiantes, docentes y el conocimiento, enriqueciendo y reestructurando las prácticas pedagógicas tradicionales. La IA tiene el potencial de facilitar, personalizar y potenciar la experiencia de enseñanza y aprendizaje en diversas disciplinas, promoviendo una educación más inclusiva, dinámica y crítica, lo que se aborda en la Página 75. Además, se destaca la capacidad del profesorado para adaptarse y liderar este cambio, integrando herramientas emergentes en los procesos de enseñanza-aprendizaje, lo que se expresa en la Página 108.</p>
		<p>Este compendio realizado por la autora no solo refleja el estado actual de la investigación sobre IA en la educación superior, sino que también nos permite reflexionar sobre el futuro de la docencia y el aprendizaje en un mundo donde la tecnología y la pedagogía están cada vez más entrelazadas. La autora invita a docentes, investigadores y estudiantes a explorar juntos el potencial de la inteligencia artificial como un motor para una educación más inclusiva, dinámica y crítica; a partir de la lectura del libro.</p>
		<p>La lectura de este libro me motivó a realizar esta reseña, basado en la importancia que tiene hoy, el dominio de las diferentes herramientas tecnológicas de inteligencia artificial; así como su uso correcto y ético en los procesos tanto docentes como investigativos. </p>
		<p>La ortografía, la redacción y el estilo empleado es aceptable. El lenguaje utilizado por los autores es ameno y entendible, directo y claro; por lo que constituye un excelente material para los docentes en función de la actualización y elevación de su preparación tecnológica. También brinda a los docentes elementos que le van a permitir afrontar los retos y la ética a tener tras la implementación de la inteligencia artificial en los procesos docentes.</p>
		<p>Se consultan en el libro un total de 150 referencias bibliográfica. El 54 % pertenece al período comprendido entre los años 2020-2025; el 12 % corresponde al período entre los años 2015-2020, el 13.3 % pertenece al período de los años 2010-2015; el 6.6 % está representado por investigaciones realizadas entre los años 2005-2010 y el 14 % pertenece a lis años menores al 2005. Lo ante expuesto evidencia la actualidad científica del libro, indicando que el patrón de citación es adecuado.</p>

			<p>“The university teaching in times of AI”, book edited by Rosana <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B1">Satorre Cuerda; it was published by Editorial Octoedro in November 2024</xref>; it offers a deep reflection on how artificial intelligence is transforming university teaching, addressing both the challenges and opportunities it presents. Satorre (2024). With contributions from diverse authors and a rigorous peer-review process, this work is a valuable resource for educators and scholars interested in educational innovation.</p>
			<p>The book reviewed, as expressed by the author, is an eloquent testimony of the work developed with the aim of improving university teaching at the University of Alicante. After 22 years of tireless dedication to the improvement of university teaching, the University of Alicante's University Teaching Research Network Conference (REDES) and the International Workshop on Innovation in Higher Education and ICT (INNOVAESTIC) has become a solid and essential pillar in our commitment to educational excellence. This led her to compile and edit the book.</p>
			<p>The book addresses a variety of topics related to the integration of artificial intelligence in higher education. Some of the topics include: Validation of questionnaires on the teaching perspective towards generative artificial intelligence. Teaching strategies to develop critical thinking in history students. Reading comprehension and active learning through digital dialogic reading with AI. Impact of digital gamification and artificial intelligence in group tutorials. Personalized and inclusive learning opportunities for students with special educational needs. Methodological proposals for teaching in architectural graphic contexts using AI. 			<p>The book is composed of 8 chapters and has a total of 108 pages. The chapters of the book address the following topics: Chapter 1: Introduction to artificial intelligence in higher education and its current relevance. Chapter 2: Validation of questionnaires on the teaching perspective on generative artificial intelligence. Chapter 3: Teaching strategies to develop critical thinking in history students. Chapter 4: Reading comprehension and active learning through digital dialogic reading with AI. Chapter 5: Impact of digital gamification and artificial intelligence in group tutorials. Chapter 6: Personalized and inclusive learning opportunities for students with special educational needs. Chapter 7: Methodological proposals for teaching in architectural graphic contexts using AI. Chapter 8: Final reflections on the future of teaching and learning in a world with AI.</p>
			<p>Each of the chapters reflects the diversity of approaches and applications of artificial intelligence in education. According to the text, artificial intelligence is expected to transform the relationship between students, teachers and knowledge, enriching and restructuring traditional pedagogical practices. AI has the potential to facilitate, personalize and enhance the teaching and learning experience in various disciplines, promoting a more inclusive, dynamic and critical education, which is addressed on Page 75. In addition, the capacity of teachers to adapt and lead this change, integrating emerging tools in the teaching-learning processes, which is expressed on Page 108, is highlighted.</p>
			<p>This compendium by the author not only reflects the current state of AI research in higher education, but also allows us to reflect on the future of teaching and learning in a world where technology and pedagogy are increasingly intertwined. The author invites teachers, researchers and students to explore together the potential of artificial intelligence as an engine for a more inclusive, dynamic and critical education; from reading the book.</p>
			<p>Reading this book motivated me to write this review, based on the importance of mastering the different technological tools of artificial intelligence, as well as their correct and ethical use in both teaching and research processes. </p>
			<p>The spelling, writing and style used are acceptable. The language used by the authors is pleasant and understandable, direct and clear; therefore, it constitutes an excellent material for teachers in order to update and improve their technological preparation. It also provides teachers with elements that will allow them to face the challenges and ethics to be taken into account after the implementation of artificial intelligence in teaching processes.</p>
			<p>A total of 150 bibliographic references are consulted in the book. Fifty-four percent belong to the period between 2020-2025; 12% correspond to the period between 2015-2020, 13.3% belong to the period 2010-2015; 6.6% are represented by research carried out between 2005-2010 and 14% belong to the years prior to 2005. The above evidences the scientific timeliness of the book, indicating that the citation pattern is adequate.</p>
